Love It!

VERIFIED PURCHASE
The compact size makes it perfect for our space and it gives a great workout. Working from home made us more sedentary, so we love being able to jump on it before work or at lunch. We have it in the bedroom and it's so quiet that my husband is able to workout without waking me up!

A couple minor quibbles that have nothing to do with the machine: the MSeries App isn't very intuitive, and I think it's targeted for cycling as the RPMs seem rather high. It's still nice to use as a guideline and for tracking, plus there are elliptical workouts on YouTube. If you live in an apartment or condo, be aware that it ships in a huge box on a pallet. The freight service won't help you up any stairs, so your first workout with the M5i might be carrying the M5i!

Great Workout

I've had my Elliptical strider for about 6 months now and love it I looked for apps with elliptical classes and finally found one - Aaptiv. It is audio only, but l don't really need to see a trainer on the machine....just turn it way up and go.
They do a good job of queueing resistance and tempo changes. They have tons of classes for all levels - great music and coaches.

Just Like I Remember from the Studio

Hard to explain why this piece of equipment is unlike all the others, but it is. It's compact, the strides and arm movements are perfectly measured and aligned, and it's whisper quiet. Yep....spendy...like, really spendy....but it's an investment in my health and so worth it.

Slow slow slow shipping

VERIFIED PURCHASE
If you want one of these in 2021 make sure to factor in the two months shipping time it takes. Ordered mine on 2/8 and still hasn’t even shipped. This isn’t even factoring in the two weeks it till take to get here. Keizer is selling products they haven’t even made yet and it takes ages. $200 shipping gets you six weeks of waiting time smh.

Keiser responded:

Hi Allen,

I apologize for the confusion, your order confirmation email notes your projected ship date and we are very up-front with our lead times. At the time of this review, your M5i was scheduled to ship on or before 02/25, and it shipped on 02/24. Once shipped, transit time is much more like one week than two; on paper it's just four business days but can occasionally be more if the carrier encounters any delays.

It is true we build all products to order, but even taking all of the above into consideration, we remain among the fastest places to receive exercise equipment!

If you need service or support please do not hesitate to reach out, thank you!

Perfect for me

VERIFIED PURCHASE
After waiting months for this machine to be in stock, I ordered it. One selling point is that it is not as long and huge as some other brands. It fits nicely in my family room where I can watch something on TV or play music. It also has wheels on the front so it can be pulled back and easily moved around.

It arrived in a huge cardboard box that was too big to bring into my garage. The guy who delivered it, offered to help me get it out of the box so we could put it into the garage. It didn't take long to cut through and pull the cardboard off. The elliptical was attached with straps to a wooden pallet which we brought into the garage. It had a plastic sheet covering it, and that was also easy to remove. As specified, it was fully...

A friend came over and helped me take it off the pallet and wheel it into my house and where I wanted to put it. Actually, I probably could have done it myself, but she had already offered to help me and I didn't know it would be easy.

Once, put in place, I got on it and tried it out. Everything worked great. It is quiet and easy to use. I haven't had it a full month yet, but so far I am using it 30 minutes a day. It seems to be giving me more energy to do other things. My regular exercise was always going for a 2-4 mile walk daily but my feet would get tired and it wore me out more. I think I am getting better exercise doing 30 minutes on the elliptical than a 2-mile walk.

Solid--well built

VERIFIED PURCHASE
I have had other elliptical machines which don't compare to the Keiser. This machine is obviously well engineered, classy, and inspires confidence that it will be a long term companion of mine. It is really disappointing that the elliptical reviews online don't mention the Keiser which clearly is because they are being paid by the other manufacturers. These various reviews on Google are completely misleading – – if you're serious, you really need to look at the M5 I

Nice but clunky and noisy

VERIFIED PURCHASE
Having both the bike and the strider I think the bike is the better made of the two products. After only a few weeks of 10 miles a day the bike is already clicking and banging with every stride like the cheaper strider I replaced.
It would be nice if they matched each other a bit better in their design, quality and color accents.
Glad I bought the bike first, but would not have purchased another product if the strider was my first Keiser product.

Keiser responded:

Hello Adam,

I do not like the sound of that, our Striders are to be just as quiet, or at least comparably so, as our indoor cycles. Have you had a chance to connect with our service department regarding the noise? I would hate to think you have a machine that isn't performing as intended.

Please feel free to connect any way you can, thank you,
