Landon Evans
Vice President of Human Performance, Education and Research
Landon oversees the development and implementation of evidence-based training and educational programs that support their worldwide markets. His extensive background in sports science is further demonstrated through his co-founding of Malum Terminus Technologies, an AI-based risk-mitigation platform developed from U.S. Department of Defense-funded research at the University of Iowa Technology Institute’s Virtual Soldier Research Program. Before Keiser, Landon served as the Director of Sport Science, Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach to Track & Field, and for four years, served as the sports nutrition coordinator at the University of Iowa.

Global Director of Group Education
As the Global Director of Group Education for Keiser, Krista is one of the fitness industry’s leading experts and a highly sought-after educator and presenter on indoor cycling, group fitness and program management. With a degree in Human Kinetics, she has dedicated her entire career to inspiring others through movement and education. Krista has traveled the globe sharing her passion and knowledge and has been recognized by IDEA as a Fitness Instructor of the Year award recipient and is a three-time canfitpro Canadian Fitness Presenter of the Year. She is the author the book, Partner Workouts: Training Together for Better Results and loves to share her passion for exercise and the life changing benefits of living an active life.

Latin America Sales & Education Manager
Paco has been working for Keiser as an International Trainer for over 25 years. Alongside with Krista Popowych, they created “The Ride Concept,” a complete indoor cycling education concept program included in the M Series Ecosystem. He has presented in over 60 countries and at major sport and fitness events worldwide, including IDEA, IHRSA, IHRSA Latin America, IHRSA Europe, Club Industry, Can Fit Pro, FIBO, Asia Fit, Rimini Fitness Festival, and at various international sport and science universities in Taiwan, Spain, the UK, Japan, China, Brazil, and Holland. Paco’s passion for fitness, conditioning, and health is evident when you have the opportunity to participate in any of his training sessions. His charisma, energy, extensive knowledge of fitness and wellness, and his vast experience as a fitness educator make his presentations not only motivating and entertaining but also unique.

Mac Calloway
Human Performance and Education Specialist
Mac began his sports performance coaching career with a unique opportunity, joining the NBA’s Orlando Magic and WNBA’s Orlando Miracle. Working alongside All-Star caliber players and future NBA Champion Head Coach, Mac gained invaluable hands-on experience at the elite level. By the age of 24, he had become one of the youngest Division 1 Head Basketball Strength and Conditioning coaches. Over the past two decades, Mac has coached athletes across a variety of sports at prestigious institutions such as the University of Dayton, Clemson University, the University of Miami (FL), and DePaul University, where he was named Director of Sports Performance. Currently, Mac serves as a Human Performance and Education Specialist at Keiser Corporation. In addition to his professional role, he volunteers his time training and mentoring youth athletes in the community.

Human Performance and Education Specialist
Gabe Derman is a Human Performance and Education Specialist at Keiser, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the team. He served as a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Michigan, University of Texas, DePaul, UCLA, University of Washington, and University of Illinois-Chicago. His coaching experience also includes working with MLB, PGA, and NBA athletes. Beyond the collegiate and professional arenas, he has spent over five years in the private sector training youth, adult, and older adult populations.
Gabe has traveled around the world consulting on best practices related to human performance, providing on-site education, and sharing his insights globally. He also hosts the Keiser Human Performance Podcast, where he discusses the latest trends and insights in the field.
He holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Michigan and an M.Ed. in Sports Science from the University of Texas. Additionally, Gabe holds a CSCS, SCCC, Level 1 Precision Nutrition, and Level 1 Titleist Performance Institute certification. Steve Manz
Human Performance and Education Specialist
Steve Manz is a Human Performance and Education Specialist for Keiser with an M.S. in Exercise Physiology and multiple certifications (CSCS, XPS, CPT). Prior to Keiser, Steve spent 19 years as a collegiate track and field coach, guiding numerous NCAA All-Americans and a National Champion. Steve's notable athletic achievements include competing professionally in the shot put at two Olympic Trials and 12 countries, earning three NCAA All-American titles at Michigan State University (shot put), and winning two Michigan High School State Championships (discus throw and football). Steve's favorite thing about Keiser is "its versatility to enhance human performance for all ages and disciplines, whether advanced or novice."

Keiser National Trainer
A group exercise leader for 40 years and a Keiser trainer since 2007, Judy is a Fitness Alberta Master Trainer and YMCA Canada Educator. She enjoys teaching classes ranging from cycling to step to yoga. Judy has presented at numerous conferences, including Fitness Alberta’s Fit Rendezvous, canfitpro Toronto, and BC Fit. Outside of training, she enjoys hiking, reading, volunteering, and all things rodeo with her children. In cycling, the focus is often on intensity, but Judy consistently reminds her students that the success of their next drill is only as good as the rest time they take. Additionally, she believes that fun is an essential component of any exercise program.

Suzette O’Byrne
Keiser National Trainer
Suzette has been a Keiser trainer since 1994 and holds a BSc in Kinesiology and an MA in Leadership. She is an AFLCA trainer of fitness leaders in all specialties, an E-RYT 500 level yoga instructor, and an IAYT-certified Yoga Therapist. Suzette is a published author, one of the original Keiser Indoor Cycling trainers, and has presented workshops, courses, and master classes throughout North America. Outside of training, she enjoys hiking, skiing, yoga, mountain and road biking, fly fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Suzette has been a Keiser trainer since 1994 and holds a BSc in Kinesiology and an MA in Leadership. Karen is an ACSM-certified Exercise Physiologist and Health Coach with 30 years of experience in the fitness industry. She has been a Keiser trainer since 2008, inspired by her love of outdoor cycling, triathlons, and the incredible experience on Keiser bikes. She earned her Master’s degree in Public Health in 2019 and now works in community healthcare for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, MA. Outside of training, she enjoys outdoor cycling, running, paddle boarding, and skiing with family and friends. She teachers group cycling at a local fitness facility and encourages her students to compete only with themselves and not others; focusing on getting stronger everyday.

Jill Wattenbarger
Keiser National Trainer
Jill has been a Keiser trainer since 2008. An ACE-certified Personal Trainer, Medical Exercise Specialist, and Health Coach, Jill teaches and presents cycling foundation courses and modules throughout the country. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Ball State University. Jill has been teaching group fitness since 1994 and has over 18 years of experience as a fitness director. She loves to remind her student's that even though exercise may not always be easy, it is always worth the effort.
Jill has been a Keiser trainer since 2008. STEP Director & Older Adult Market Specialist
Crystal Johnson serves as Keiser's STEP Director and Older Adult Market Specialist, leading the development of evidence-based systems, education, and implementation strategies that help older adults improve strength, power, function, and independence. She works with senior living organizations, healthcare professionals, educators, and industry partners to translate research into practical solutions that improve human performance regardless of age.
Prior to joining Keiser, Crystal built and led the Kinesiology department at Seasons Health Therapies, where she led a team of kinesiologists, developed rehabilitation programs, and maintained a clinical caseload helping individuals recover from complex traumatic injuries. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Master of Education in Sports Education. As a former Canadian National Champion and National Record Holder in the hammer throw, Crystal brings firsthand experience as both an elite athlete and coach. She is passionate about bridging science and application to help people build the physical capacity to live healthier, stronger, and more independent lives.
