love the M3i bike

I went back and forth on which spinning bike to pick up for the winter months and landed on the M3i. Feel like I made the right choice, the biggest thing I was looking for was a realistic riding feel, easy way to change resistance, and way to connect with some of the biking apps out there (like zwift).

The bike is wonderful, the converter not so much

The bike was relatively easy to put together (especially after watching the youtube video.) The bike is solid and smooth. The converter technology is clunky and really needs an upgrade. Opening and closing the converter to get it it to pair is unacceptable given today's technology. It took several tries to upgrade the firmware of the converter and finally it is updated and using the always on. I assume this will drain the battery quickly though. If the converter technology was improved and it used any bluethooth HRM it would be the perfect bike setup.

Hey Cyn, thanks for your review, I'm sorry to hear you got a troublesome Converter! Most Converters do not require the firmware update, nor the troubleshooting step of opening and closing to get it to pair.

I’m loving my Keiser M3i. I’m new to spinning, so I was a little concerned I might not like it. That wasn’t the case. I’m so happy that I decided on a Keiser over a Peloton. Quiet, more compact, better components, sexy looking (yes, I described a bike as sexy!). It takes a bit more time to coordinate my bike with the apps, but I’ll get better at it. Mostly using the Peloton app with it. Thank you for making such an awesome bike and even better, it’s made in the USA (that even made my husband happy!).

Smooth&Quiet

Easy to assemble,very quiet and a smooth ride.Best feature to me is the toggle for gear shifting, I hated the ones you had to turn a crank.The computer read out screen is very helpful in cadence,power,calorie, time,odometer and distance.Well worth the money.

Bike has issues and CS is lacking

I ordered this bike because its made in America. When it arrived it has some damage to the frame exposing the metal underneath and we can hear a scraping sound when we pedal. I have been working with CS for almost a month now and they keep asking me to fix something send a video. I haven't actually been able to use the bike because this CS is taking so long to get this resolved. The nicest thing about getting the bike was they had a promotion to get the assembly tools with it which is a life saver if you are putting this together yourself.

I'm sorry about that, most Keiser cycles arrive without a hitch however there are defects every once in a while.

I have ridden this bike for years in the big gym spin classes. It is an awesome bike. The delivery was great, with tools, and accessories ... exactly as promised. Now I am back to spinning an hour a day and feel recharged and will move to 2 hours soon. BTW I have had other bikes including the Peloton. Kaiser is so superior. The best investment you can make is in your health,
