No Regrets!

VERIFIED PURCHASE
We chose this bike after comparing to Peloton, Nordic Track and a few others. I had used a Keiser previously in a fitness club spin class. Love the great engineering, stability and simplicity of this design. My husband and I are enjoying our workouts and usually ride while watching a class through the Peloton app on TV. Assembly took less than an hour using the Keiser video. Very satisfied with the purchase!

Spin class anytime

I love my new Keiser bike, assembly was pretty easy (although I’d never even heard of a torque wrench before!), and it’s what I was used to from doing spin classes at the gym so I was already familiar with it. Very smooth ride!

A Must

VERIFIED PURCHASE
Never did spin classes, but ride outside all the time. Have gotten tired of the near misses, from cars. A couple of people in the club, we are/were in have been hit. Purchased one for our son and wife. They love it. So we decided to buy one for us. I am really hooked, 67 female. LOVE it. Hubby just rides it like a regular bike and watches tv. I use apps and did I say LOVE IT.

Not often that I can state that I'm totally satisfied with a purchase. The packaging, assembly instructions, and tools provided were exceptional. Far better product than the competitive, over advertised products.

The BEST indoor trainer!

VERIFIED PURCHASE
I'm a spin instructor who has ridden many indoor trainers. Keiser's bikes stand out as, by far, top on my list. They are built extremely well, insanely quiet, and their data display details exactly what every rider needs. Also, their gear shifter is head and shoulders better than a twisting knob. When you shift you actually shift gears and can see this displayed. It seriously is a perfectly designed indoor trainer.

Like the M3i, but still working out some issues!

I had been looking at spin bikes for at least a year. I had been going back and forth, checking reviews and looking at the features trying to determine which one was best for me. I actually have a road bike and used to ride quite a bit but have not done so with any regularity for the past couple of years, so I was also looking to get in shape so I could get back out on my bike. I had gone to some Soulcycle classes and really liked their bikes, but just could not 1) put out the $2500 for the at-home bike and then commit to the $40 a month Varris membership, which is required; nor 2) could I justify spending $1,650 on one of their new “as is” studio bikes with no warranty. The Peloton set up, which was similar, with the exception of their 12-month limited warranty, did not appeal to me either.
I came across Keiser after one of my searches for “the best spin bike.” I scoured over the features, read many, many reviews, asked one of my roadies if they had heard of Keiser and got positive feedback, so I decided to go for it. It didn’t hurt that the bike came with $500 worth of gear which included all tools required to assemble the bike.
The bike was delivered 6 days after ordering. The bike was extremely well packaged. It was mounted to a thin wooden plank for stability and very well wrapped and padded. My son helped me get the bike out of the boxes—it is double packed, one box inside of another. You will need assistance removing the bike from the box. With the exception of some very minor scratches on the flywheel and one of the washers, nothing appeared damaged. I assembled the bike myself following the YouTube video. I had no issues with assembly.
I have had a chance for two good rides so far. Overall, I like the bike—it rides well. I love the streamlined appearance and sleekness of the bike. However, the design of the water bottle holder makes it easy to knock the water bottle down when getting off the bike. The seat takes some getting used to but is not horrible. I may however switch it out in the future. I love the style and placement of the tension lever and it has been quite effective and is much more convenient and easier to adjust than the standard knob which you have to reach down to adjust. I love the stretch pads as when riding outside a sidewalk was the only place I could get an adequate stretch for my calves. While in the gym I could never quite find the right place to stretch my calves, so the stretch pad is wonderful! Of course, I love the mat as it saves my floor. The media tray is useful for holding my phone and the blue tooth converter which I have not mastered yet—still learning how to use that. I have done two recorded Peloton rides by simply casting from my phone to my television but have not been able to connect through the blue tooth converter. Perhaps I will try it with another app.
The one issue I am having is that the handlebars keep loosening up. No matter how much I tighten them, they loosen up during use. During the end of my last ride while leaning against the handlebars stretching, the handlebars shifted forward enough to startle me. I am now hesitant to lean against them as instructed at the end of my rides.
Desperately need to know how to secure handlebars so they do NOT shift forward.

Keiser responded:

Rhonda,

If you've not had the chance yet, please reach out to our service department for assistance ASAP. The handlebar sliding issue is likely a very simple and quick fix, and we'll have you riding in your preferred style in no time!

Thank you,

Mike Douglass
