The bike has not been delivered

VERIFIED PURCHASE
Fedex is too busy to deliver the bike to the designated address.

Keiser Responded:

Hi Alfred,

This is Mike from Keiser, we've been going back and forth with the shipment of your cycle. Fedex did seem to have additional difficulty delivering to your address than usual, even with the additional delivery attempt we arranged. We are looking to implement delivery appointments for future deliveries to avoid this in future. The Fedex Delivery Manager can give you more control over deliveries, including vacation holds to pause all shipments, rerouting to a different address, etc.

I hope you have a chance to give us an update after receiving your cycle, and as always, you are welcome to reach out if there's anything we can do to assist you.

Best,

Great bike

VERIFIED PURCHASE
My wife wanted this bike as she uses it at the gym. I'm surprised at how well built this bike is. Installation was a breeze. Watched the video and used the manual. I had the app on my phone working in a few minutes and the heart rate monitor as well. I like how quiet it is and just how sturdy it feels.

A month ago my BP was 213/147 and now the family Zwifts together on the M3i

1) Researching: Wow, there are so many options out there. I did some sprint tris before, but my wife and I are not road warriors anymore. I needed a single piece of equipment that we both could use in the house and that would not “overwhelm” any spaces. At first I was hesitant because I’d read the concerns that the M3i could not connect to Zwift. Fortunately for me, the M3i holiday package included a new converter just for that purpose.

2) Ordering: The price felt a little steep compared to some options, but there were several very appealing features I liked over other options: magnetic resistance, low profile, included computer, converter (compatibility with Zwift), the whole thing weighs less than 100 pounds, dual cage/SPD pedals, the shifter is a simple lever vs the annoying hand crank, and they even...

2) Ordering: The price felt a little steep compared to some options, but there were several very appealing features I liked over other options: magnetic resistance, low profile, included computer, converter (compatibility with Zwift), the whole thing weighs less than 100 pounds, dual cage/SPD pedals, the shifter is a simple lever vs the annoying hand crank, and they even included every tool I needed (even a torque wrench) and a nice craftsman bag for it all. Ordering was simple and they even read my note asking to coordinate on delivery date for the holidays. They delivered it exactly when I asked.

3) Setting up the M3i: Holy cow this was easy. They have a setup video posted that I used. It was intuitive and simple to follow. Had the whole thing setup in an hour.

4) Connecting to Zwift: When you start pedaling, the computer automatically turns on. My first converter had an issue and would not initiate. I called Keiser and they had a replacement to me the next day. It turns out that they discovered when customers were removing the little shipping tab that separate the connection on the batter, the connection was being stretched a bit. So, be gentle when removing that tab. The instructions say to sticky tape the converter to the back of the media tray. I admittedly have the converter sitting in my media tray so I can see the red or green light. All you do is pick it up or tap it and it automatically tries to connect. Red means it’s searching and green means it’s connected. So, now, when I start pedaling the computer starts up and I tap the converter. They connect instantly. Then I login to Zwift on a 4K Apple TV. It recognizes and remembers my bike after the initial connection.

5) Riding the M3i: The settings are solid and very much like any spin bike you may have seen at a gym. The dual cage/SPD pedals make it easy to use either kind. We use SPD. I like the handle bars. There are a variety of comfortable hand positions for if you seated or out of the saddle for the climbs. Also, the curved shape makes it easy for me to hold grab on like I’m using aero bars. That little shifter lever is so much easier than cranking a knob. It’s just up or down and it’s also nice that the computer visually shows you what gear you are in. The included gel seat cover is also nice. I think it was smart that Zwift moved the wheel to the rear of the bike for when that sweat gets flying. Do yourself a favor and get a fan, use their included sweat towel (probably Kleenex for your nose), have some water nearby, and maybe even a speaker for some music. Zwift background noise and notifications are okay, but I prefer music to get to get in the zone.

6) Other things I loved about my Keiser experience:
-The level of service and engagement by the Keiser team. Any time I contacted them, they answered immediately, and had anything I needed sent to me by next day. Also, I noticed that the engineers I interacted with were also actively out on both Keiser and Zwift forums talking about their compatibility, availability, and answering general questions. They really care and clearly take pride in their product.
-The M3i enables my wife and I to use a single piece of equipment in the house and it also gives my family across the country the chance to connect online. We actually conference call while we ride together and encourage each other. It’s a nice way to stay connected and burn a few calories.
-They also included a heart rate monitor. Forgot to mention that. You can also connect it to Zwift if you want.
-It’s so easy to jump on the bike at the beginning of the day or any random block of time and get your heart rate up.
-With apps like Zwift, you also get a bit of the social and gamification aspects that might help you stick to it a bit longer. The communities out there are very supportive.

Great product, Keiser!

Btw, BP was back down to 126/82 today and even lower recently. You and the M3I played a big part in that. Thank you and Ride On!

Quiet little bugger

I live in the cold of Minnesota, out on the prairie. It's cold. It's windy. I have ridden a fat tire bike in the winter and a road bike in the good weather for about 6,000 miles a year. But as I get close to 60, I just can't stand the cold anymore.

I researched road bike alternatives for a year. I almost pulled the plug last winter and then decided to tough it out one more year. No more. If it isn't above 15 or 20, I just get too cold out in elements. So I pleaded my case to my wife and she give me the green light.
Keiser won out over all the alternatives. And when I got it assembled (hey guys, you didn't include the socket to remove the bolts holding it to...

Keiser won out over all the alternatives. And when I got it assembled (hey guys, you didn't include the socket to remove the bolts holding it to the plywood base), the assembly was actually quite easy, I got on the bike.

Wow. Talk about quiet. I didn't have to increase the volume on the television one setting. This baby is quiet, smooth, and feels much like a real road bike.

Once I have switched out the seat for my road bike seat and put some Shimano pedals on it, my fears of riding indoors disappeared.
Really well made, small footprint, easy to move about, and QUIET makes this a purchase I am glad I made. I'm looking forward to riding all winter on this (when I am not in Florida) and keeping those winter pounds off this body.

Keiser, you did well with this. Very impressed. Just wished I had gotten a T shirt with my order (2XL!)

Keiser Responded:

Hey John,

This is my kind of review. High praise with some very valuable tips! It takes a 1/2" socket to remove those bolts, and we do need to include the socket.

Stay warm!
