5 years in, how did I ever live without my M3i

Just passed 5 years of having my Kaiser M3i. The bike still seems like its brand new even though its used for multiple spin classes per week. Still silent and smooth. Still the best feel. Less maintenance than I expected after doing the initial setup / torquing and protecting with car spray wax. I tell everyone to get this particular spin bike and once they try it, would never use the other junk out there. So glad I had a local shop that had one to try and recommended it to me 5 years ago.

Brand new Keiser M3I

I’ve recently bought a spanking new Keiser M3I. I’m in Canada, so I paid $3300 taxes included. I rode it yesterday for the first time. As I was riding the bike, I noticed that some paint was missing on the edge of the seat post tube. I put it together very meticulously, so I didn’t cause this damage. I contacted the fitness store I bought it from, but I also got in touch with Keiser. I was offered some touch-up paint. Let me re-iterate, that the bike is brand new and I paid full price for it. At the price point, the bike should’ve been mint from the company. I keep reading about great customer reviews at Keiser, but this isn’t my experience. Touch-up paint is just regular paint, not OEM magnetic paint. Plus, since steel is showing, if any sweat ran over that area, it’d rust right away....

The store I bought it from, will be exchanging the bike, which is great, but the kind of CS I got at Keiser was a total turn-off and left me totally bitter. So, I decided to write a review to share my bad experience with CS, whereas most people seem to be very please with Keiser’s CS. I’m writing this review in order to find out whether someone else at Keiser could take over and help me change my opinion about Keiser’s CS. I can’t believe I was treated so poorly. I mean, from my perspective the company treated me with little to no respect.

Keiser products purchased from one of our dealers are to be serviced by the dealer for "out of the box" issues, like purchasing a car. The touch-up paint was extended as an additional courtesy while we gather more information and connect with the dealer to ensure you are supported appropriately. Gathering that information can take a business day or two which might have left the impression that we weren't working on your issue, and that touch-up paint was to be your only support from Keiser, which was not the case.

M3i Built With Me In Mind

I had a few recumbent bikes for my rehabilitation after an accident, and as I was getting stronger I decided to get an indoor bike. I bought one at my local store and it really wasn’t the one , my legs was to long for it amongst other things so I returned it. I have a friend in Trinidad who is an avid cyclist, so I called him and ask for his recommendations, he quickly recommended Keiser of which I have never heard of before, he said he had his for a few years and absolutely love it he’s been using it everyday and it’s still like new. So I decided I will check the M3i out.
Let me tell you customer service is excellent, I called and spoke with Mr. Mike Douglass , he was amazing, he was knowledgeable , pleasant and patient . Needless...
