Excellent. Everything just as expected.

The setup was easy. Bike works exactly as if you’re in spin class at the gym. Super quiet and super smooth.

Think I'm addicted! My husband says I am!

VERIFIED PURCHASE
Fascinating how the bike came shrink wrapped and boxed! Had to unwrap it and carry it piece by piece up the stairs - pretty heavy! - so my husband could help me put it together, with the assistance of the helpful online video. Only one snag with an un-threaded bolt and that piece was quickly replaced by customer support. Really quiet, barely makes any noise! Very comfortable and adjustable for my body size (I'm about 5'6"). Very stable and doesn't rock at all. I am surprised just how fit I am from my old bike compared to the settings on the Keiser and what the instructors call out on Peleton. I'm not complaining though!! I appreciate the "extras" that were included in my purchase. I especially like the tank top. A bit challenging to initially set the BID number but I figured it out fairly quickly. I appreciate the "extras" that were included in my purchase. I especially like the tank top. A bit challenging to initially set the BID number but I figured it out fairly quickly. One thing that is totally confusing is the Bluetooth connector. While the connector is easy to install on the media tray and easy to open to access the battery, it does not seem to easily turn on (with blinking lights) even after I finally figured out and ran the updater. And just what does the connector do?? I use the Peleton app on my IPad, have an IWatch to keep track of my heartbeat....so what does the Bluetooth connector do? I downloaded the connector app to my IPad. But now what??? What am I missing?? Another app to keep track of my cadence/output? Isn't that what the connector is supposed to send to my devices? Or do I have to wear the heart rate monitor that was included, but haven't tried out yet? This is the only negative no far, and for that reason, I prefer to give the bike 4 1/2 stars, but this review won't allow a "half rating." I think the instruction part of the Keiser website could include more & better info on how to use the connector with better step-by-step instructions on what is needed and how to set it up. I checked online and can't find a thing except what it's "supposed" to do. If I've missed something, please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Carolyn,

The M Series Converter gives you access to more fitness apps. If you check out the product info page for the converter (https://www.keiser.com/m-serie...), we detail the apps your M3i will be compatible with. Without the converter you still have access to Smart Display apps, like Impowered, Goind and the Keiser M Series app. Also, after running the updater app, the converter operates in a "low power mode" and will only turn on when connected to a compatible app. This enhances battery life.

Your Polar Heart Rate Monitor doesn't interact with the converter, it sends your heart rate to the cycling computer with a different signal. When using the Peloton app, the converter enables you to transmit your power output (watts) and cadence (RPM) to the Peloton app.

You can always shoot me an email for more information, I would be happy to provide any additional...

The Best Indoor Bike I've Ever Been On

VERIFIED PURCHASE
I've owned several spin bikes over the years, and tried dozens more at hotels and gyms while on business trips. The Keiser M3i is the best indoor bike I've ever used. It's quiet, sturdy, and comfortable. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for high-end exercise equipment.

My Favorite Gym Bike

VERIFIED PURCHASE
The Keiser M3i is my third gym bike. My previous gym bike was a Lemond Revmaster Pro, which while nice to look at, uses an antiquated resistance control. The Lemond also felt odd when pedaling out of the saddle. Not so with the Keiser M3i. The combination of magnetic resistance, light flywheel, and innovative frame design make the M3i feel very comfortable when climbing. The magnetic resistance control offers 18 levels, and the resistance is consistent each time you use the bike. There are no friction pads to deal with.

The Keiser M3i has a nice fit and finish, although two areas are disappointing for a bike at this price: the handlebar mount and the seat mount. These parts are cast and spray painted. They function ok, but they look out of place on a gym bike at this level. The same is true of the silver painted portion...

They function ok, but they look out of place on a gym bike at this level. The same is true of the silver painted portion of the handlebar. In contrast, the Lemond Revmaster has beautifully machined parts in these locations.

All that said, the Keiser M3i excels in ways that make it a very compelling choice. Its multi-function computer and connectivity options, its frame design, and its touchless magnetic resistance are hard to beat.

Keiser responded:

Thanks Todd,

You're correct, those are cast pieces. We use them as they've proven super durable and last a long time, and though my opinion is as biased as the come, I like the textured look!

Very glad to hear you're enjoying the bike,

Great bike for the home

VERIFIED PURCHASE
Love this bike! Everything they said it would be. Beautiful design for the home. Feels like you are riding on the streets. Only negative. The accessory for holding your iPad is too small and needs to be updated to hold iPad Pro.

Keiser responded:

Hello Dmonier,

I hear you, the media holder actually supports any size of iPad due to the way the "lip" is designed but some of the larger tablets won't sit exactly flat. We'll keep that in mind!

Thank you,

Learning to love

VERIFIED PURCHASE
This bike is great and if you go to u-tube they have a great video to show you how to size it for you. I’m new to spin bike riding so my bum is experiencing a different feeling then it’s used to! Cushioned seat didn’t help. However, with encouragement from friends my bum is getting used to the seat and it’s getting easier to tolerate the ride! I was actually able to do a HIIT workout without pain yesterday. Other than that the bike is perfect! It’s quiet and comes fully assembled! I love it! My bum is learning to love it!
