Excellent choice

VERIFIED PURCHASE
I purchased this bike to stay in shape in the off season in Michigan after riding a mountain bike 10 miles to work every day all summer. I was looking for a well built, reliable, quiet, comfortable bike and found all that and more with Keiser.

After considerable research I ruled out Peloton as most reviews only talk about the online classes and coaching not the bike itself. We do not have good enough internet for streaming and I don’t need a coach to motivate me.

The Keiser bike came ahead of schedule well packaged. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and we had it assembled in about an hour. We had all the tools but consider the kit if you don’t have them. One cover was missing but was shipped quickly with no hassle.

The bike itself is a marvel of engineering and quietly kicks your a$$. It is solid, stable and comfortable for both myself (5’2” 128 lbs) and my husband (6’2” 160 lbs). The Handlebars and seat position are quickly and easily adjusted. The display is easy to read. The accessory holder keeps an iPhone or iPad solidly. Adjusting the resistance is simple sitting or standing. Standard bike shoes clip in easily.

I have been riding this bike every day for two weeks 10-20 miles and absolutely love it. Made in USA!

Love this Bike!

VERIFIED PURCHASE
We are very happy with our new Keiser M3i. It is a solid, sturdy bike with a smooth ride. Easy to assemble and great design. So happy to be able to workout at home. We are still looking for the right apps for us not sure about Zwift, BKool or other options. Only wish the bike came with the converter instead of having to purchase it as an accessory. But really, we have no complaints.

Love the Keiser M3i

This is my first stationary bike ever, and it is so quiet I can ride it any time of day without disturbing my partner who works from home. Also, it's such a smooth ride that I thoroughly enjoy spending time on it. I have it paired with Zwift, and I highly recommend it!

Mechanically great

VERIFIED PURCHASE
Bike is working great mechanically. Have had some issues working between supported apps and M converter working with tech support to resolve

Keiser responded:

Hello Matt,

In looking through our service emails, I see that you were in contact with our software guys. Were you able to correct your issue with the firmware update?

Glad you're enjoying the bike either way, though please let me know how things are going.

Best,

The Best for the Money

I've had the Keiser M3i for about 2 years now. I ordered it through a local fitness store, not directly through Keiser. I believe I have about 4,700 miles on it now, so it gets a fair amount of use. It has held up well, and I haven't had any issues with it. I have a couple minor quibbles. As others have said, the tablet holder would be better if it was a little wider. I use the bike with the Peloton digital app, so I have an iPad in landscape mode, which likes to slide one way or the other off the lip of the holder since it's not quite wide enough. My other quibble is that I wish the handlebars were a little different. I'm 6'4" and prefer a more upright riding position. When you raise the handlebars up,...

My other quibble is that I wish the handlebars were a little different. I'm 6'4" and prefer a more upright riding position. When you raise the handlebars up, they also go forward, causing me to lean further forward that I would like. If they offered a handlebar that looped up and over the resistance lever, this would be perfect so I could hold on closer to the middle when seated and stay more upright with bent elbows. Other than that, love the bike.

Keiser responded:

Hey James,

You're one of the few who have left us a review after using the M3i for over a year, thank you very much for taking the time!

Your comments on the media tray are echoed by other users, I'll pass a word along. There are things you can do to make the raised edges of the media tray more "grippy," but I know that's not ideal.

As for the handlebars, the forward lean is common to cycles in this category. You can bring the handlebars in closer, however for someone taller like yourself, you'll more likely get the ideal spin cycle fit which does have more of a forward lean.

If you have any other comments please feel free to share and thanks again!

Quality build - well worth the investment!

VERIFIED PURCHASE
I am an avid outdoor cyclist and enjoy both road and mountain biking. Since I live in the Pacific NW, I was searching for a bike to keep my legs and lungs in shape during rainy days (and to close my Apple Watch move ring daily). After hours of looking at hundreds of cheaply made Chinese indoor bikes on Amazon, I started looking at the more expensive options from Peleton, NordicTrack, and Keiser. Personally, I don't care about following a spin class and having a giant LCD screen in front of me during my ride. I also didn't want to pay a monthly subscription, since I have enough of those. Nothing seemed like it would meet my needs and I was hesitant about the price of the Keiser. After talking to a friend who had just purchased a Keiser M3i, I decided to take...

After talking to a friend who had just purchased a Keiser M3i, I decided to take the plunge and buy one myself. I couldn't be happier with the decision. The quality build is well worth the investment! I own a Cannondale CAAD12 road bike and an Ibis Mojo mountain bike, so riding on good quality hardware is a key factor for me. The Keiser M3i certainly fits the bill. The only thing I may upgrade is the saddle, to get something with a bit more support and like I use on my outdoor bikes. I look forward to years of riding!
