10+ year spin class aficionado here. Hands down, the Keiser design is very well thought out and the resistance is a better design than the knob in other bike brands. I bought the install/tool kit along with the bike and I highly recommend it to those who don’t have a toolbox. And even those who do, there are two tools that came in very handy that aren’t typically part of the toolbox staple. I also bought the Polar heart rate monitor. It’s a good brand; I used it before Apple Watches and FitBits became popular. It’s nice. I also bought the converter but haven’t tried that one out yet. Assembly was moderate. One person can do it alone. It was an investment but very well worth having this top tier bike in my home and accesible whenever I want to use it. In the morning...

Late at night bc why not...no prob. It’s not loud. It can be moved about with the nifty wheels, just need some space to do the initial pop but otherwise just great! If you are considering this bike and a peloton: my take away is that peloton has that same resistance knob design that I don’t care for. The classes might be a seller but the converter is supposed to address that. I also don’t like monitors being so close to my face (nearsighted) and so a peloton monitor would not be useful for me. Once I use the converter, I intend to use my Apple TV and the compatible apps. We shall see. But yes! I approve of this investment!

Everything about the process has been smooth.. I ordered the bike on-line after severely weeks of reviewing alternatives. Less than 2 weeks later it arrived packaged up nice and no damage. Assembly instructions and process was a breeze. The bike rides like a dream and is extremely quiet. My wife, son, and myself all use the bike. I am 6 feet 5 inches, my son is 6 feet, and my wife is 5 feet 5 inches. My preferred workout is with my iPad linked sitting in the media holder and following along with a trainer using “The Ride” app…. Overall we couldn’t be happier. A solidly designed and built product.

Watching the videos/movies from the guided training plans on an enlarged external monitor connected to my laptop, synced with all generated work out data sending from the M3i computer, changed my routine boring workout into a suffering yet with fun journey. The M3i resistance lever makes the following of the workout plans a predictable exercise. Very satisfied with the money spent on the M3i.
