The bike is incredible ❗️I’ve been riding since I was a kid and this feels like the real thing. It’s also super convenient for my condo. Easy to move around.

Just Okay

I cycle a lot. Roughly 3000 miles a year. Both in and outdoor.

The Good
1. Attractive looking
2. Smooth flywheel
3. Doesn’t take too much space in the home

The Bad
1. There is a lack of integration with decent apps like ZWIFT. This is my biggest issue.
2. I find that I can never quite get the bike fit right. The V shape frame pulls the body too far away. I’ve been fitted on the bike.
3. I find it hard on my knees. I can’t get the same body position or smooth feel on the bike that I get from my road bike no matter how I adjust it.
4. There is a click on each pedal stroke. I had multiple techs in to look at it. It could be the surface the bike is on. I put...

5. Despite the marketing, I feel the flywheel is too light.
6. The website is forcing me to enter a zip code...I live in Canada :~)

Keiser Responded:

Hello Jeff,

Thanks much for your comments, I certainly hope we can improve this experience for you!

Zwift compatibility is fast approaching, and you won't need to replace your computer to integrate. We have heard from many customers like yourself and will bring Zwift to the M3i very shortly!

The "clicking" is something I'd like to get our service department in on, if you can reach out to me at 559-256-8020 I'll escalate your cycle issue to our service department.

Based on your feedback, we are going to remove the zip code requirement for uploading user reviews; thanks for that!

I will send you an email with some information on the Zwift integration, and I'd love to get more feedback from you regarding the cycle fit and our flywheel! Constructive criticisms are always welcome, and I hope we can address the bigger issues you bring up.

Was not a fan of indoor exercise equipment- until now

VERIFIED PURCHASE
I have always loathed the idea of treadmills or indoor cycles. I am used to running on trails or riding my bike outdoors. But, due to work and travel schedules, I needed an alternative method to train for some upcoming rides. I considered the Peloton, but didn't like the fact that I would have to spend an additional $50 or so a month to stream the Peloton content. Then I found the Keiser M3i. Was still hesitant about the indoor bike thing, but I decided to give it a try. Best decision I could have made. I love this bike. My husband was able to put it together in less than 30 minutes. It is so smooth and quiet and very sturdy. Maybe because the pedals include a clipless option, allowing me to use my regular road bike shoes,...

I've been able to download training videos from you tube that keep me interested and focused on the workout. Bottom line- I love this bike!

I love this bike. My biggest problem thus far has been keeping off of it.

The resistance, seat and handlebar adjustments allow it to be used in multiple ways: as an upright or as a spin bike; for an intense workout or just to work off stress and stay flexed. The ability to vary the resistance either by large amounts or infinitesimally lets me lets me simulate workout programs while remaining in control and proceed during the session based on the energy level and muscle fatigue I experience in real time.

The monitor gives me all the information I need, and the lack of buttons ends up being a win-win proposition as there's nothing that would make me want to press one. I am able to stay on track for my overall goals throughout the workout and adjust accordingly. And the backlight comes on just when...

And the backlight comes on just when it's needed, which hasn't always been my experience with similar readout screens.

The M3i is practically inaudible. I'd never biked to classical music before but was moved to do it with this machine because I lost none of the content on account of the bike and found I could keep to the tempo as it varied by working the resistance level.

It's also obviously built to last, with no serious wear and tear on the parts and extensive maintenance instructions and the flywheel out of the sweat zone. I'm so happy to have gotten it. This is my second magnetic resistance bike, so I can appreciate the planning that went into it.

Good job, Keiser!

Love this indoor bike

I spent a lot of time on so many indoor bike review websites, I lost count. Some review sites had bikes on their top 10 list that other sites did not and it seemed the reason for that was the reviewer(s) simply don't try every bike. One thing that was consistent however, was the Keiser M3i was at #1 on just about every site. Yes, it's a higher end bike with a higher end price tag. My requirements were magnetic resistance and 4-way seat & handle-bar movement. I could've gotten those two things in a less expensive bike (still around $1300), but that one didn't include a floor mat nor the Bluetooth computer, which I also wanted. Here's the bottom line...if you want to be able to ride/train when the weather is bad or you just want a 30 minute spin whenever you feel like...

Stop wasting your time on those review sites; you won't be disappointed with the Keiser M3i.

Smoothe Ride

VERIFIED PURCHASE
Been using this bike at my gym and there was always a line for them...so just bought one myself and love it. Closest thing I have found to a real ride experience indoors. My husband put it together (don't know if I could have done it myself). I live in Idaho and lots of times I can't ride because of the weather outside. Now I can still get a ride in every day!

A Great Indoor Bike for Mountain Bikers

VERIFIED PURCHASE
Love this bike! I was going back and forth between this bike and the Peloton for a while, and decided to go with the Keiser. So happy I did! This bike fits my 5'5" shape very well and I feel like I am on my mountain bike when I ride it. It is very clear that cyclists designed this bike and a lot of attention went into all of the details. Love this bike for days that I can't get outside to ride.
