Great piece of machinery!

VERIFIED PURCHASE
Straight forward assembly and a smooth ride.
The only issue was that the package was delivered and left upside down at our house. As a result, there were very deep indents that basically almost pierced the mat included in the package. This was not the fault of Keiser, so no issue with the bike.
The optional tool kit was the other issue. It arrived in a Craftsman tool bag but none of the tools contained were Craftsman. More importantly, the torque wrench included was nothing close to the quality of the wrench shown in the assembly video. I purchased the tooth kit solely for the torque wrench but all of the tools in the kit are not worth anything and I will never use them.
Again, the bike is fabulous which is why the rating is still five stars.

That's a good point, thank you for pointing that out. As the tools included are only going to be used a few times a year they are fairly basic but they work great for what you need it for with your cycle!

Just purchased M3i

I've been a competitive cyclist for 30 years and I have ridden on spin trainers, wind trainers and I've blown up my share of fluid trainers over the years.
As a busy professional I find it hard to get the training time in sometimes and fluid trainers have kept me in good shape over the years. I've dealt with noisy NOT SO EFFICIENT trainers forever. Wish I'd purchased this product years ago.
I've ridden on it for a week and I can't get over how whisper quiet it is, how well put together it is and how stable it is! The magnets give me the resistance I can't get from a fluid trainer! Awesome workout and great product! I DON'T WRITE REVIEWS...and I'm sure not a paid spokesperson. Initially I screwed up with the stars...I certainly give this product 5 well deserved stars!

My Keiser M3i

When I started to attend spinning classes they had the regular knob type bike with no display, I was so lost and it took me a while to go back to a class. I later found a local spin studio who had the Keiser M3i bikes. What a game changer! I decided to purchase my own bike back in January because the class schedules weren’t good with my schedule and there were o my a couple instructors I really loved to follow. Since purchasing my bike I’ve gone from 1 to 2 workouts a week to 5-6 days a week of cycling. I went with the Keiser M3i after mulling over all the other bike options out there. I refused to spend the money on a spin bike I didn’t absolutely love or was comfortable with. Since purchasing my bike, one of my friends purchased her own as well!

Disappointed with digital capabilities

I am a 58 year old who has been committed to physical fitness my entire life. I have a home gym and closely track my fitness level and have done so for year. I upgraded my M3 bike that I have been using for 3 year (and loved) and purchased a new M3i in January. I expecting a robust digital experience, being able to ride my preferred bike (Keiser over Peloton), leveraging Peloton's digital classes while achieving the easy, complete, and intuitive tracking and metrics I desire. Unfortunately this is not working out as expected. The Converter device is VERY disappointing (battery runs out in days), connectivity with Peloton does not work, other apps like mPaceLine is unreliable (data is lost) and the mSeries app is lacking (visual features don't allow for any kind of meaningful analysis) and integration with products like Strava requires manual...

The Converter device is VERY disappointing (battery runs out in days), connectivity with Peloton does not work, other apps like mPaceLine is unreliable (data is lost) and the mSeries app is lacking (visual features don't allow for any kind of meaningful analysis) and integration with products like Strava requires manual uploads. I have tried contacting Keiser customer support and the responsiveness and follow up was not timely and overall VERY disappointing (I can share communication if someone is interested). Fixing these shortcomings should be a #1 priority for Keiser, yet it seems like this is not the case (read the Keiser Riders Peloton facebook group with many disappointed customers).

In summary, although I enjoy riding my Keiser bike, my upgrade from the M3 to M3i has not met my expectation. The disappointing customer service and product support and lack of state of the art digital capability leaves me VERY disappointed. Given this, unfortunately, I can't help think that I would have been better off purchasing a Peloton.

As far as the converter goes, I hear you on that one. The first version of the converter was not what we hoped for, and clearly not up to par when compared to the cycle itself. We have been working diligently to improve the interface and connectivity, and it is much better now. The latest firmware update addressed the battery issues and improved performance overall, I encourage you download the updater app and update to the latest firmware!

I'm not familiar with the MPaceline power drop issue, I'll get with our software guys on that to see if they have any tips. We are working on another version of the Keiser M Series app but for my money...

Bought for the tool kit

I needed a new torque wrench the M3i came with my purchase, this wrench has exceeded my expectations. My 3 year old son has now acquired it for his tool collection. The bike is outstanding it is quiet and smooth just as I expected. We use it mainly with the peloton digital experience. This bike is far superior over that bike fit and function, I had one hiccup with the converter. Tech support was great with the remedy. I like the gear function vs. a spin knob to me it gives me that consistent feel every time.
