Back to health

Easy to assemble, all the tools needed (I can use in my shop). I'm recovering from a broken leg. The Keiser bike gives me the opportunity to continue aerobic workouts.

Beyond impressed!

As a long-time runner, I always considered myself the kind of person who would never own cardio equipment. Enter 2020 and the need for cross-training. I bought this bike sort of on a whim because I got so frustrated with not being able to run in single digit weather, because the spin studio that I used to go to in my neighborhood closed in 2020, and because I refuse to buy a Peloton.

I am beyond impressed with this bike and I would proudly proclaim that I own one.
UPS delivery person was so kind to help me get the bike on a dolly and (thank goodness I live on the first floor!) I rolled it inside. The packaging was great although the Mount Guard arrived broken (I suppose it did its job). I assembled the bike by myself and it took me about 90 minutes, mainly...

The packaging was great although the Mount Guard arrived broken (I suppose it did its job). I assembled the bike by myself and it took me about 90 minutes, mainly because I took great care to make sure I did it right and because I had to look up how to use a torque wrench.

The bike is just a beauty to look at and a joy to ride. Because I clip in, I removed the toe cage straps—I realized that they flap around too much if left on. Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say about this bike. It’s masterfully and meticulously engineered, and that’s all right by me. Even a friend who is an *avid* cyclist (outdoor) and who has extremely high standards for all things cycling was impressed. That says a lot.

Back in the saddle again!

I purchased the Keiser M3i and it is great to be back on this indoor bike again! I rode one of these bikes as a spin instructor for over 7 years, so when it came time to invest in a high quality indoor bike there really wasn't much in the way of competition. The quality of the bike is simply superb, and I know from first hand experience they are very, very durable. The packaging it was shipped in was impressive...one doesn't see a thick walled cardboard box packaged inside another thick walled box very often! And even more impressive was the set of tools included with the bike, which only made the assembly process even easier. Great job, Keiser, and simply a great product!

Beautiful piece of engineering, indeed!

Love my M3i. Glad I did not purchase the Peloton. This bike helps me achieve my cardio goals. Still adjusting to the seat though. I am not one for sitting on a machine all day, but I’ll make an exception for this one as it is extremely quiet and just looks so damn sexy. Don’t be stubborn like me - get a friend to help you with delivery (UPS requires signature). I picked it up myself from UPS - dumb idea, box was very heavy. Take your time with install. Don’t rush it. Took me 3 days to finish assembly only because of my work schedule and I didn’t want to make any mistakes due to fatigue.

Fantastic Bike

The whole experience of the purchase, assembly, service support and bike itself is fantastic. I had one question during assembly, and I was easily able to contact one of your support techs for a quick answer, very impressive. Only suggestion I have on design is to add a secure bracket to hold water bottle as at times when mounting second foot, you kick the bottle off its stand. Even with that small issue, the bike is still a 10 out of 10.
I had tried an older version in a club which is why I bought the Kaiser and have to say the improvements you have made with a flywheel guard and the lateral adjustment to handlebars are excellent. I am 68 years old and can't bend over as well and the adjustment to the seat and now handlebars make the bike flexible and...

High quality exercise bike

Bike itself is amazing, only thing in need of updating/modernizing is the computer - very basic with no buttons. Was told by customer service only compatible heart-rate monitors are Polar brand. Haven't tried my new H9 monitor yet so I'll update review accordingly. UPS botched my delivery, YMMV. Keiser customer service needs a refresher on greetings - the two reps I spoke with never identified themselves or what company they were representing. Only other issue I had was defective assembly hardware - one of the acorn nuts that secure the frame to the base rounded on me when tightening. Overall, I'm very pleased with the bike and look forward to many miles of riding on it.

Keiser responded:

Hello dabigoreo,

One of the reasons we design the computer with no buttons is that simple systems provide fewer problems. Some manufacturers place tons of buttons and settings on their machines in an attempt to make them more "modern," but in the end, if it doesn't significantly add to the experience, you're paying for "bells and whistles" at best, and another part that can fail at worst.

We recommend the H9 now instead of the H1 because we understand Polar monitors to be of good quality. There are a lot of heart rate monitors that work with the bike, but we'd prefer to recommend one that we have faith in.

As for your customer service experience, I'll be sure to alert our team who answers the phones. When you call Keiser you get a human first, and we want to make sure customers know who they're calling! I can...
