Great bike for our condo workout room

The small footprint is great for the common workout room in our condominium and the bike feels really sturdy and is easy to adjust. I have used the RIDE app a few times and it has some good classes--although it would be great if it synced to the bike. This is a HUGE upgrade from the bike we had before and I think more owners will use it.

After using the Keiser m3 in a local gym's spin class, I wanted to find something similar for my home. When looking at other models I found the tension knobs antiquated and the plastic handlebars cheap. After looking around for a year I finally splurged on the Keiser m3i and I could not be happier. The bike works as expected, assembly was a breeze and its hard to limit myself to one workout a day (coming from someone who doesn't work out). When sharing my m3i choice with biking friends they couldn't believe I spent that much on a bike without a screen that couldn't automatically adjust gears with whatever class I am watching. From my point of view, I'd rather the money go towards a better quality bike than a screen and technology that will be out of date in a couple if years. I plan on this...

The Keiser tool bag was a great addition, it made assembly a breeze. I also recommend setting the bike up yourself so when something is loose you know which screws/nuts to tighten.
The only thing I would change is that the heart rate monitor was an easy add on when purchasing, I didn't realize it wasn't included.
I have used the ride and the m3 series app, both need improvements and feel like they are in the beginning stages, but I trust that Keiser will continue to improve the apps.

I've used the M3 for many years at the University of Virginia Aquatic and Fitness Center mostly for a "recovery" exercise". UVa has a number of various indoor cycles but I always choose the Keiser M3 due to its simplicity and because it most closely resembles riding a bike. It has a very smooth operation, easy to adjust the tension, height of seat, and handlebars. Also during the years and hours using this, I've never seen a malfunction (mechanical or display).
I contacted Keiser, and had the pleasure of communicating with Sam H. for helping me to decide on a new M3i!! At first I was leaning toward a used model, but found used versions cost just 200-300$ less than a new one that has a full warranty. Sam was very knowledgeable and completely no pressure; he just gave me the info about the M3i and his personal opinion...

I received the bike sooner than expected and in good condition. I took my time during assembly. The instructions adequately explain how to assemble the bike. Everything is laid out for easy assembly. During assembly you can also see the quality of the parts that make up the bike.
I've only had the opportunity to use it a few times since I set it up and it works just as the version at UVa that I was accustomed to. As soon as I can, I plan to use this as a regular supplement to my aerobic training. Thanks very much Keiser!
