Awesome Bike/Disappointing Customer Service

If you are looking for a quality spin bike, the M3I is definitely worth the purchase. The customer service, however, has been a disappointment. It took an additional 5 days and a lot of phone calls on my part to receive my product due to a bar code delivery issue between Keiser and FedEx. Manager, Mike Douglas sent one email to FedEx to assist. I sent him a follow up email 5 days later indicating I was still having issues having my bike delivered due to a bar code issue and he had no response or follow up. I purchased the product during a promotion, including a mat for the bike to sit on and because they ran out they will not honor the promotion. There was not any acknowledgement in my bike shipment that they were out of them. I called customer...
If you are looking for a quality spin bike, the M3I is definitely worth the purchase. The customer service, however, has been a disappointment. It took an additional 5 days and a lot of phone calls on my part to receive my product due to a bar code delivery issue between Keiser and FedEx. Manager, Mike Douglas sent one email to FedEx to assist. I sent him a follow up email 5 days later indicating I was still having issues having my bike delivered due to a bar code issue and he had no response or follow up. I purchased the product during a promotion, including a mat for the bike to sit on and because they ran out they will not honor the promotion. There was not any acknowledgement in my bike shipment that they were out of them. I called customer service and have received an email from Internet Sales Manager, Mike Douglas, he offered a mat to me since they now have them in stock for an additional $40, but is willing to waive the shipping and handling. I questioned why would I pay an additional $40 for something I already paid for - no response from Mike Douglas.

Thanks for your comments, I wanted to clear up a few pain points:

1. The bar code issue was due to the way the package was handled post shipment, if the bar code is damaged in transit it has to be replaced. In order to be scanned when the package is first picked up at our factory, the bar code must be in perfect shape. The additional delivery time is due to Fedex encountering significant package volume increases with fewer drivers to deliver these packages, due to COVID.

2. Our promotional bundle does generally include the floor mat and Polar monitor but these promotions change as time goes on. We removed the mat from the bundle from late April to early June as we didn't have a solid re-stock date and these promotions typically run "while supplies last."

The bike is made and super sturdy. I'm 6'5", 250 lbs and it feels very stable. The mobile app is pretty nice. I export the (TCX) data to Strava web to record indoor workouts. I use Strava and an apple watch for outdoor rides. Great combo!
The only thing I would improve is the seat post/seat clamp arrangement. Why put the effort into making a really nice casting for adjusting the seat, then put a crappy seat clamp that you would find on a $50 Huffy bike at Walmart?
A cast, 2 bolt design like the Amazon basics seatpost would be a nice improvement. Buy the bike. It's a great lifetime investment.

Great Quality, Amazing Workout

I had used the Keiser M3i for spin classes in the gym at my work. Due to COVID-19 our offices closed down and I was looking for a good option for at home workouts. My spouse is a foot taller than me and we have no issues adjusting the bike to fit both of us quickly and comfortably. We have been using the Peloton App to take their On Demand classes. We chose the M3i over the Peloton bike b/c of its SPD clips and not having a screen.
The instruction book gives a tip to cover the fly wheel with a small scrap of paper when installing to prevent cosmetic damage - read and follow this step unless you want a scratched fly wheel.

smooth ride, my only complaint would be (even with the multiple ways you can adjust the bike) I would love to see the handlebars slide even further toward the rider for the "shorter rider" so we don't have to bend forward quite so far. Otherwise great bike!

Fantastic Bike

We ordered this bike during the Covid19 crisis. Their customer service was top notch and we received the bike sooner than expected. My husband put the bike together with no problems. The bike is sturdy, easy to adjust and a real pleasure to use. We also ordered the tablet/ipad holder and are very happy that we did.
