WOW What a Ride!

Started using a keiser at a new gym and I really liked the smooth ride and better workout I was getting than the bike I was using at my old gym. Then came isolation and I needed to workout, solution get one for home. Best decision, no more driving to the gym or trying to get a bike in the class. Now I have everything I need at home.
A bonus is the daily live spin classes fantastic instructors.
The keiser App is great to keep track of your rides and progress

My initial impressions are high build quality and smooth operation. Similar price to Peloton but US made, quick delivery and does not tie you to $40/month subscription. I opted to use the Peloton app for $13/month which I stream to a TV. The only negatives are that I would not waste your money on the M series converter if you plan to use the Peloton app as it adds nothing (which is hard to discern from the website, given I thought it would convert my resistance and output values to Peloton but does not). In fact, the Bluetooth functionality is of little benefit for personal use and I might have opted for the base M3 bike instead since the included heart rate monitor is not usable to me (who wants to strap a band across their chest with each use?). Otherwise, the bike itself is excellent.

You're correct, the M Series Converter does not convert Peloton resistance, it converts the actual Bluetooth language the cycle sends out in order to connect to apps that use a different Bluetooth language. The Peloton app uses this power profile but the actual exchange of data is limited by design. The better use for the M Series Converter is apps like Zwift and SufferFest; apps that require a larger exchange of data and are driven by this connection.

Also, as we get this question every now and again, one of the primary benefits of the M3i is also that is has a forward and backward handlebar adjustment, this feature is absent from the M3.
