great gym quality bike

My husband and I are both really happy with this bike! I am familiar with Keiser bikes through my old gym. The gym has since switched to a fancy bike with fancier lcd screen options and other gimmicks that as a home user I wasn't interested in dealing with the maintenance on. Keiser is a great solid bike that I expect we will be using for many years to come with very little maintenance hassle.

Great quality product, but causing knee pain

The quality of the materials used in this bike is incredible, but it’s causing knee pain. I own a road bike and have no knee issues, but I do with the M3i. I continue to play around with the settings in hopes of finding a resolution, but fear it may be caused from the wider-than-usual pedal placement. The 3Mi is about 2 inches wider than standard road bikes. Does Keiser happen to have replacement cranksets with the traditional pedal placements or some other solution? I’d love to make it work, but may need to return it.

Hello Jim,

After you and I discussed this issue, I know our cycling trainer offered some feedback on riding and position. Though the cycle is wider, there are a lot of things that can cause discomfort when riding.

If any rider experiences knee pain we recommend easing in to the ride, starting off slow and perhaps with fewer sessions a week as you get into it. Of course you should consult with a medical professional familiar with you to determine the right path.

We only manufacture one style of crank arm for the cycles, though you can exchange the pedals!

The bike arrived well packaged. The assembly manual instructions were clear. I am happy we purchased the tool kit as it made set up go quickly. The bike seems to be sturdy. It is easy to adjust fo size. The gearing is smooth. It is quiet. The digital screen is easy to read and appears to be working well. Though I use a wrist heart rate monitor, I have also used the polar strap. While I have just had a few sessions so far, I anticipate using the bike often once the midwest winter weather makes indoor workouts more likely.

I love this bike!

I did a lot of research before purchasing my Keiser M3i. To be honest, I was really nervous about spending so much money in the middle of a pandemic. As it turns out, this bike has kept me sane during one of the most difficult years in our lives. I rode it almost every day. The M3i is easy to put together, has a small and minimalistic profile and feels solid. The customer service is also exceptional. I ended up moving out of state a few months ago and sold the bike to a friend who is a professional athlete. Now that we are settled, I've purchased a new bike. I can't wait for it to arrive!

Quality piece of equipment

You can tell this bike is built to last once you put it together. Super quiet so I can workout anytime I want and not disturb anyone in the living room. Only complaint is that the seat is uncomfortable to me after 50 or so minutes but bike seats are personal and relatively inexpensive to replace. The bike is exceptional where it matters.

I have torn cartilage in my wrist so I'm particular about bike handlebars and not leaning or bending my wrists. This bike has a great handlebar set up! Lightweight, very quiet, comfortable seat, great tension and I like having the digital display. I just have to get used to the tension lever being higher up than my auto pilot brain is used to! Money well spent!

Great Bike

I must admit, I was tempted by the Peloton craze and considered getting one. After a ton of research and waffling, I decided to go with what I was familiar with. I have used Keiser bikes in the gym for years and decided if I was going to spend that much on a bike, I wanted it to be commercial quality, with no electronics to break or need updates, and to be made in the USA. I'm so glad I went with the m3i!!! It is an amazing bike and I could not be happier. I use the Peloton app, have joined a Keiser Facebook group, and my only regret is that I didn't do this three years ago when work changes kept me from making it to the gym classes!

I love my new bike!

I live in 1000 square feet. My home has now become my home, my office, and my gym (like everyone else!) This bike is sleek and quiet! This bike is perfect if you are tight on space and if you don't want an eye sore in your home. The wheel is weighted and the gears are tight, you get a great workout every time. The wheel is on the back which will help prevent the wheel from rusting with all of your sweat dripping down. You can use any app or channel to ride or simply play music and jam out on your own. The bike was pretty easy to put together too. I am Keiser Cycle certified, not sponsored, and these bikes do not disappoint.
