I was on the fence about buying a "spin bike". I love to run, do Plyometrics and lift heavy weights but at 47 my injuries have caught up to me (Army, pickup basketball, Soccer, Tough Mudders ...at a current 225 lbs ).
I was torn between an elliptical trainer & a peloton. The interactivity of the Peloton was a strong selling point but I didn't want to be locked into one companies app which I may not want in 10 years so I wanted to choose an app independent cardio machine.
e.g. Maybe I want to try road racing (Zwift) or a different spinning company (Soul Cycle). Who knows what I'm thinking in 5-10 years?

Biking "out of the saddle" (off the seat) gives a very similar feel to an elliptical, but with far more options for movement (e.g. sitting w/heavy resistance to feel like biking up a hill).
Me and my 2 daughters are using it nearly every day (I lift with dumbells 2-3x per week & use the Keiser to warmup).
Brilliant non-impact workout that works the muscles and not the joints. The resistance is smooth & even at the highest levels.
I couldn't recommend this purchase enough - amazing!

M3i adjustable handlebars are a must vs the M3. Love the bike and instead of sharing with my spouse, we purchase 2 so we can ride together. Smooth ride and appreciate having the adjustability options to work with each individual body. Recommend riding with clip in cycle shoes, makes a difference in your workout. I highly recommend the M3i and optional tool kit to put it together. Easy to understand instructions for assembly and then you have the tools for any needed maintenance later. Customer Service has been great!

I had used this bike at the local YMCA when I was a member a few years ago. Like others, I decided that being at home and unable to go to a gym was a good time as any to make the investment and get my own bike. I use the bike daily and am impressed with the quality. It is practically silent while in use and rides very smooth. The shipping time and packaging were excellent - while the outer box was heavily damaged the bike and all parts were packaged well and survived the cross-country trip. I did not purchase the maintenance kit as I had most of the tool required are pretty standard and I had them in my toolbox already. My one issue was with the converter that I purchased as an add-on. The battery was not making good contact in the unit and it was not connecting with the Bluetooth in the apps. A folded piece of paper did the trick by proving enough pressure to make continuous contact and allowing the converter to communicate with the apps. I have not used the included heart rate monitor as I use my Apple Watch instead. I love this bike and would definitely recommend it!

Superior my made, super quiet
I am thrilled with my purchase of the Keiser M3. It was easy to assemble, has a Sleek. Attractive design and is super quiet. It is extremely sturdy ans well made. When it got too hot to use in my garage due to a heat wave, I easily wheeled it into my home and was able to do my digital classes inside. I love the media tray.
