I purchased this sight unseen based on my good experience with my Keiser spin bike. I couldn't be happier. This elliptical allows me to get a better workout than any other elliptical I've ever used. I like the shorter stride length which allows me to get my heart rate up higher, and I like that it requires no power. High quality and made in USA.

This is a great machine. I just bought the second for our condo because of my 3 years with the first in our main home (and my initial encounter in a European gym before). It is amazingly sturdy and extremely quiet. I watch videos using the media on phone while I exercise, and I can do it (with headphones) in the night without waking my wife.

A slight correction to directions, the assembly of the handles indicated there would be an "R" and "L" on them and they did not but they appear to be symmetrical.

We love our Keiser M5 strider! It is a great full body cardio workout yet easy on the back and knees. We knew that we liked the Keiser strider from our experience at Orange Theory Fitness. It is so compact in comparison to elliptical, rower, or treadmill machines, and it is excellent for adults and teens with minimal adjustment. We got it, because unlike a spin bike, it is easy to hop on and hop off for a quick or intense workout without having to readjust for each user user in our household.
It was delivered pretty quickly, and the customer service is responsive, as well as technical support while my husband and helper put it together. The only point to really emphasize is that you have to make sure you have all the right tools and follow the instruction manual to the letter verifying the step before moving on....

I have literally searched and searched, on line and at Sporting Outlets, found several machines, checked the reviews and came away disappointed and not comfortable in investing ANY hard earned money in them. Some were too big, too heavy, too expensive and even if I found some that could have been affordable, the reviews scared me off.
I couldn't believe I found KEISER with its Sturdy, Well built, Designed for HEALTH Clubs Elliptical, yet small enough to fit my small apartment and not as heavy, easy to maneuver!!
