The bike works well but the new M3i display is very dim

The bike itself is great but I'm disappointed that the new M3i display is so dim. I called into technical support and they told me this is normal. I find it hard to believe this was the design intent so it appears to be a design flaw. This new display does not meet expectations for a $3000+ bike.
