Great bike

Very quiet and is the best looking indoor bike out of all the bikes I was considering. Very happy with my purchase. Sales manager Mike also has been a great help answering questions and assisting post purchase.

Keiser responded:

Thank you Kyle! It was a pleasure to work with you.

Lifetime quality piece of equipment - and a pretty good digital ecosystem

VERIFIED PURCHASE
I upgraded from a Keiser M3 to the M3i Studio primarily for the expanded gearing, but was also excited for the new display as I do zone training primarily, and this bike computer supports riding by zone natively. Bike came packaged securely, I assembled it myself using the Keiser toolkit, pretty straightforward, and the instructions for assembly were nicely detailed. I've been quite pleased overall, the quality of the build is comparable to the M3 so I see no decline in quality over time. The most significant difference in the build is that the seat post now has a pin mechanism rather than a free-sliding post for additional rider safety. The bike computer is also pretty great- the display is nice, I'm impressed at the number of modes it now supports, and I love that it's pedal-powered so I can place the bike anywhere. On...

On the other hand, The Keiser documentation for using the bike computer along with the M Series app and other supported platforms is nearly non-existent, so initially I had some issues connecting to both the Keiser app and my preferred training app, but Support was able to assist and now it appears to be working consistently. Would be a better user experience if more basic "how to" documentation was available. It's also been great to record power data, which I couldn't do on the M3. The Keiser app is the (relative) weak link here, the data display could be better both while riding and when reviewing a completed ride. For example, at least on iOS, if you're using both the Keiser app and a training app, the Keiser app popup needs to stay in the foreground or the connection to it drops. If you minimize the app window it still takes up approximately 1/3 of the screen real estate, and it can only be moved left or right (not positioned by the user) so during a session I have to move it occasionally to be able to access functionality on my primary app. That being said, I like having my power data on screen in addition to on the bike console, but it would be nice to be able to resize the popup and be able to place it where I want it if I have no choice but to have it running visibly. Hopefully this will be a future app enhancement. Post ride app data includes some graphs but they're compressed to fit a portrait view, there is no landscape view, and the graphs overlap so it's visually kind of messy. You can export data but I haven't yet. (I'd love to sync my Keiser data with my Garmin data but that seems to require third party app integration.) I have barely explored The Ride yet, but the content looks pretty good so look forward to getting more familiar with it. Overall, would highly recommend the Studio Plus, it's a lifetime-quality piece of equipment for a home gym, and I look forward to training with it for years to come.

Keiser responded:

Thanks for your feedback G_Boss, I'll forward it to our software team. We want to make zone training and integration with the Keiser M Series app as turnkey as possible, and though I'm glad our service team was able to walk you through it, I'd prefer you had all of the instructions you needed to get started immediately.

Easy setup, love the wheel in the back. All the adjustments are convenient. Overall I love my Keiser. It lets me ride when the weather is to cold or rainy outside.

Amazing Bike

VERIFIED PURCHASE
Keiser never fails. Quality is top notch and customer service is amazing. We love Keiser so much we bought a second upgraded bike so my husband and I could spin together. If you are looking for gym quality to have in your home that isn’t dependent on any plugs or cords, look no further. Two purchases we will never regret.

Yes it’s worth the investment

VERIFIED PURCHASE
The M3i Plus has the solid fit and feel that multiple online reviews mention. I’m a taller rider, and the 4-way adjustment and seemingly simple engineering of the frame makes for a comfortable riding position that I’ve found hard to dial in on while on other bikes. The resistance is consistently smooth, and I love the ability to fine tune my workouts with that large range of gears. Highly recommended!

Top Tier Quality

i am mainly a bodybuilding guy but when we cut we need serious cardio. So needed a bike that could support a big guy and have enough biofeedback markers to keep me in the sustained lower intensity cardio zone. You cannot go wrong with this bike. It is total quality—no cut corners. Plus it is compact, doesn’t weigh a ton, and being a big and tall guy has all the adjustable ergonomics for a great comfortable ride. The fly wheel disk is literally a piece of art--gleaming high polished. It reminds me of disc sent with the Voyager space probe. The monitoring screen is clear and bright and connects to heart rate monitors easily with color coded feedback. I am sure serious indoor bike peeps would love this too. You get online rides with coaches if you need group motivation to keep u going as part of the bundled...

The bike works well but the new M3i display is very dim

VERIFIED PURCHASE
The bike itself is great but I'm disappointed that the new M3i display is so dim. I called into technical support and they told me this is normal. I find it hard to believe this was the design intent so it appears to be a design flaw. This new display does not meet expectations for a $3000+ bike.

Keiser responded:

Hi madison-123,

Thanks very much for your feedback! The Studio Display's backlight functions differently than our previous displays; it reacts dynamically to the ambient lighting in the room rather than just turning on or off.

If you find the display is dim, you might consider moving the bike to a room with less natural light. That will actually reduce the display's backlight, but less ambient light can greatly improve visibility.

Thanks again for taking the time to review your new M3i Studio Plus,
