Version 1.12.0 – A400 Display Update (October 19, 2026)

This update brings back guest workouts, puts every sign-in behind one screen, and makes Keiser Cloud displays easier to reach for remote support.

New Features

• Guest mode: Members can work out as a guest again. The sign-in screen now offers CONTINUE AS GUEST (name entry) alongside PIN sign-in, plus SKIP to start a Go Mode set where allowed. When the display is offline, sign-in opens straight to name entry. Guest and Go Mode workouts are recorded for the session and can be kept by signing in afterward.
• One sign-in screen: INDIVIDUAL and GROUP on the Home screen, the SIGN IN button in the header, and NEW USER from a review or the member menu now all open the same sign-in screen. It opens over the current screen, so CANCEL returns instantly.
• Go Mode review: A Go Mode set now ends on a review screen with END, NEW USER, and NEW SET. Signing in from the review keeps the Go Mode workout under that member, and leaving the screen untouched ends the session after about a minute.
• SIGN OUT ALL: The member drop-down has a new SIGN OUT ALL action that signs out every member in one step, after confirming how many people will be signed out and that guest workouts will be deleted.
• Remote support status: Keiser Cloud displays now report their remote support (WireGuard) address each time a machine session starts, so support can reach the display. The admin panel’s Diagnostics > General page adds a Support section showing that address (or “Not provisioned”) and whether the tunnel is Active or Inactive.

Improvements

• More reliable workout set storage and syncing. Duplicate or stalled uploads are prevented, an unfinished set is closed when the next set starts, and sets left unsynced are retried in the background. Guest, Go Mode, and unfinished sets are never uploaded.
• Go Mode, guest, and member workouts now share the same workout flow, so added mass, setup delay, and set recording behave the same no matter how the workout was started.
• Changing the Connection Mode now clears workout sets saved under the other mode, so they can’t be stranded where they will never sync. A manual change first warns with the number of pending sets and requires confirming DELETE & SWITCH. Guest and Go Mode sessions are cleared as well.

Bug Fixes

• A damaged saved workout set no longer crashes the display or silently loses data. Unreadable sets are held back from syncing and show a notice during review.
• A Go Mode workout whose next set fails to start now returns to the Go Mode review with the sets already recorded, instead of going to the Home screen and discarding them.
• SIGN OUT now signs out exactly the member selected and ignores extra taps while a sign-out is in progress, so a quick double tap can’t sign out the wrong person.
• The member grid no longer overflows into the page dots when enough members are signed in to need more than one page.

Version 1.11.0 – A400 Display Update (October 8, 2026)

This update adds a review screen after Go Mode sets and stops false power errors on displays connected through unmanaged network switches.

New Features

• Go Mode set review: A Go Mode set started from the Home screen now ends on a review screen instead of returning straight home. It shows the set number, rep count, mean, peak, and total power, the range-of-motion chart, and a rep bar chart with Power/Velocity and Rep Mean/Rep Peak toggles. Each completed set gets its own chip so earlier sets in the session can be reviewed. NEW SET starts the next set with the same rep mode and added mass (up to ten sets), and END finishes. Leaving the screen untouched for about a minute ends the session.
• Session-only guest sets: Go Mode sets are kept only for the length of the session. Nothing is saved on the display or sent to the server, and signing in, opening the admin panel, or the machine going offline clears them.
• Review setting: The review screen follows the facility’s “Show Review Data Screen” setting. With it turned off, a Go Mode set returns to the Home screen as before.

Improvements

• Displays connected through unmanaged network switches no longer report a power negotiation (LLDP) error right away. The display now waits to confirm whether the available power can run the machine and only shows the error if it cannot.
• Turning on the global settings override now resets the operating schedule, so a schedule previously sent from the server no longer stays active after the override is enabled.
• Tapping a software update alert no longer opens the admin panel.

Bug Fixes

• Pressing END, or a machine error, while a Go Mode set was still starting could leave the finished session showing as active. The late start is now ignored.

Version 1.10.0 – A400 Display Update (September 24, 2026)

This update adds on-screen display alerts, a new Go Mode setup prompt, and a simpler registration flow for machines connected to Keiser Cloud.

New Features

• Display alerts: The Home screen header now shows alert icons for connection status, workout sets waiting to sync, and software updates, with a dropdown that lists each alert. Tapping an alert opens the related diagnostics page, connection alerts include a retry button, and a failed software update shows a red icon.
• Machine error dialogs: Machine errors that prevent safe use are now shown to the user in a dialog on the screens used to set up a workout (Home, set review, sign-in, session options, exercise library, and group queue). Starting a set or test is blocked while the error is active, and the display returns to the previous screen once the error clears. A set already in progress is not interrupted.
• Go Mode setup: On machines that support added mass, Go Mode now asks for rep mode and added mass before the set starts. Added mass options follow the display unit setting (10–230 lb in imperial, 5–100 kg in metric, and matching Newton steps in SI), and custom values are limited to the machine's force range.
• REGISTER button: Machines in Keiser Cloud cloud mode that have not been claimed now start on the Home screen and show a REGISTER button in the header to begin claiming, instead of being sent straight to the claim screen.
• Hourly update check: The display now checks for software updates in the background once an hour. Each display picks its own minute in the hour, so a facility's displays don't all contact the server at once.

Improvements

• The Backend Mode setting is now called Connection Mode and sits next to Display Settings, so it no longer requires developer mode. "Offline (Apollo Hub)" is now labeled "Offline (A400 Hub)".
• If a machine is removed from its facility in Keiser Cloud, the display now clears its credential and returns to showing REGISTER. A routine session-token expiry is refreshed automatically and is no longer mistaken for a removal.
• The sign-in screen now shows a cloud-specific message when the machine isn't authorized, instead of always referring to the Hub.
• Displays switched to cloud mode during factory setup now change over right away instead of waiting for the next power cycle. After a factory reset, cloud units stay in cloud mode and all other units re-detect their connection mode.
• Added alert simulation tools to the admin settings (development builds only) for testing alerts and error dialogs.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed users getting stuck on the workout screen when a Go Mode set failed to start more than once. The "Unable to Start Set" dialog now reappears on every failure, and the finish button works from a failed set.
• The low battery error message now names the correct CR 2032 battery (it previously said CR3032).
• The screensaver now returns to the Home screen correctly when Go Mode setup dialogs are open.
• A background update check that fails no longer leaves a lingering alert icon, and no longer clears the alert for a failed download or install.

Version 1.9.1 – A400 Display Update (September 8, 2026)

Maintenance release focused on machine power detection and internal reliability.

Bug Fixes

• Machines running on a power adapter are now correctly recognized as powered. The display previously reported power as available only when the connection matched a Type 2 PoE injector, so power-adapter installations never registered as powered.

Improvements

• The Keiser Cloud SDK now comes from its published 5.6.0 release rather than a development build, for more consistent and reliable updates.
• Expanded automated testing to cover both on-prem hub and Keiser Cloud cloud modes, and updated the release pipeline for improved build consistency.

Version 1.9.0 – A400 Display Update (August 7, 2026)

This update applies facility setting changes right away and adds exercises for 17 machine models.

New Features

• Live facility settings: Display settings changed in Keiser Cloud (units, QR code, operating schedule, brightness, review screen, torque mode, sign-out delay, data and focus mode, performance drop-off, added mass, and set delay) are now sent to the display and applied immediately, without a restart.

Improvements

• Added exercises for 17 machine models (1222, 1232, 1550, 1621, 1633, 1721, 1921, 1932, 2032, 2035, 2235, 2331, 2431, 2721, 2821, 2936, and 3331), including leg curl, squat and deadlift variations, military press, biceps and triceps machines, rows, chest fly, abduction/adduction, core, calf press, and the full functional trainer exercise set.
• Go Mode now gives members more time before timing out: 60 seconds of inactivity in total, with the warning appearing after 50 seconds instead of 20.
• Go Mode workouts now follow the facility’s session settings (data mode, focus mode, performance drop-off, added mass, and set delay) instead of built-in defaults.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed added mass not being saved with a workout set. It is now applied when each set starts.
• Added mass is now re-applied on every new set, including sets started from the machine, so the second and later sets no longer lose it.
• If the machine doesn’t accept the added mass, the set no longer starts silently. The display now shows the “Try Again / End Set” dialog instead.

Version 1.8.0 – A400 Display Update (July 16, 2026)

This update adds remotely initiated software updates from Keiser Cloud, with safety checks and status reporting.

New Features

• Remotely initiated software updates: Displays now respond to an update request sent from Keiser Cloud, in addition to their own scheduled update checks.
• Update safety checks: A remotely requested update is only installed while the machine is idle and sitting on the Home or Admin screen. Requests that arrive during a workout, or on any other screen, are skipped rather than interrupting the user.
• Update status reporting: Skipped, failed-download, and failed-install outcomes are now reported back to Keiser Cloud, along with the display's installed software version, so update status is visible without visiting the machine.

Improvements

• Reworked backend connection tracking into separate state streams for more accurate connection status on the display.
• Exercises on hub installations are now looked up by the machine's model number instead of a single global list, so exercise IDs can no longer collide between machines.
• An update request that arrives while an install is already running is now ignored instead of starting a second update.
• Network change notifications now survive an error instead of shutting down, so a single network hiccup no longer stops the display from noticing later changes.
• Hub connections now use a fixed reconnect delay after a dropped connection, and verbose error logging is limited to debug builds so production displays stay quiet.
• Updated to the latest Keiser Cloud SDK and connection library for improved data reliability.

Bug Fixes

• Syncing no longer overwrites the server ID on an already-synced workout set, so previously synced sets keep their original server identity.
• Errors while loading the exercise library at startup are no longer silently discarded.

Version 1.7.0 – A400 Display Update (June 16, 2026)

This update supports new installations without the Hub.

Improvements

• More reliable hub reconnection. Displays no longer get stuck unable to retry after a connection drop, and the connection is now explicitly opened before the compatibility check so it no longer fails silently.
• Cloud reconnection now uses a tiered retry schedule (faster early retries, gradually backing off) instead of ramping to the maximum delay too quickly on flaky connections.
• Background syncing now shuts down cleanly: in-flight syncs are allowed to finish and record their final status before exit, so sets no longer get stranded in a "syncing" state.
• Cloud-mode displays without a saved credential now run in standalone Home mode while cloud claiming is being finalized, instead of stopping at the claim screen.
• Sync logs are now tagged with their source for easier tracing of connection and sync issues.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed workout set updates during review occasionally applying to the wrong set; updates are now matched by unique ID.
• Exercise data is no longer cleared from the local cache when a refresh fails, so a dropped connection won't leave the display without exercises.
• Handled server errors during background syncing more gracefully so they retry instead of failing.

Version 1.6.1 – A400 Display Update (June 1, 2026)

• Keiser Cloud cloud mode: Displays can now connect directly to the Keiser Cloud cloud in addition to an on-prem A400 hub. The backend mode is selected automatically on first machine configuration and can be changed later from the settings page.
• Machine claiming with QR code: Redesigned machine claim flow. The display shows a scannable QR code and step-by-step instructions, with a live countdown, automatic refresh of expired claim codes, and a success confirmation screen. Cloud-based claiming is supported in Metrics mode.
