Great product- terrible delivery- Keiser took care of it!

She did exactly as promised and the new bike arrived via UPS on Friday. Thank you for resolving this so quickly. Happy to have my bike!

Very good. But could be great with a few changes.

- Super super solid, smooth, and quiet - really couldn't be any better
- Post sale tech support was very responsive
- Looks cool. Shape, colors, laser cut letters on seat post
CON's: (from the perspective of a long time road and mountain biker)
- The design could be changed to make assembly easier, not require as many or special tools
- Seat height comes in large increments of 1/2"
- Seat clamp is similar to what is found on a dept store bike and has large tilt increments
- LCD display could be brighter and bigger so both power and calories show at same time
- Would like to see a narrow Q-factor crank arm option for us road bikers
- Index shifting would be a nice add for those of us used to it on our other bikes
In spite of the CON's, I'd still recommend.

Updated: Please offer a paid assembly option from Keiser

I've been using my bike for a month now, and I absolutely love it. The frustrations of assembly are long forgotten and the bike has lived up to every expectation. It is well made, aesthetically pleasing, compact, silent, and rides super smoothly. I trust that I will be able to use it for years to come and I'm very satisfied with my investment. I'm happy that I can have a studio quality experience at home.

I wish I could actually review this bike based on use, but unfortunately I haven't even made it that far because I can't assemble it. I live by myself, and apparently I am not as strong as I thought I was because I can't even get it out of the box. Hauling this thing up to my apartment by myself was also a struggle. I've contacted two of the third party providers listed on Keiser's site who are somewhat near my area, and unfortunately they are not the most responsive and I'm still waiting to hopefully schedule an assembly (please note, I am aware that Keiser is not responsible for the timeliness of third party assembly service providers and experiences will vary depending on where you live).
I have no doubt the bike itself will live up to expectations, and if the difficulty in actually moving this thing around is any indication the build is sturdy and will last for years to come.
However--I am a customer that would have *happily* paid for a white glove delivery and assembly option for the reasons outlined above. When I emailed customer service prior to purchase, I was told that this option is still in development. So I hope this review can sway the eventual decision in favor of Keiser directly offering a paid assembly option, because receiving it only to feel frustrated because I am unable to lug this 106 lb machine out of the box and put it together is kind of raining on my parade.
I think it is great that Keiser offers thorough instructions on assembly as well as the option to get the tools necessary to do it. I think it is important that consumers have a choice as to how to proceed with their purchase. That said, I was willing to pay for assembly (something that I consider to be a reasonable expectation, though I do not know if this is an industry standard), and I think it would behoove both Keiser and future customers to at least offer that as an option in future.
