I bought this bike on the recommendation of my sister in law, who is a trainer at a health club and she said "Hands down. This is the only spin bike to consider". I took her at her word and am very happy that I did. The quality is great, very well made, easy to assemble as long as you have the right tools and I feel this bike is going to last for a very long time. She also told me that over time, the Keiser is the most trouble free bike that the club has. I love the shift lever vs a knob to adjust the gears. Buy it ! You won't be sorry!

I am 6'7 and weigh 275. Our gym recently bought these to replace the M3. While the M3 handlebars still did not raise high enough for someone of my height, it was still ride able although it eventually put a lot of strain on my chest muscles.
The new M3i handle bars sit roughly 3 inches lower than the M3. During the class I was unable to ride because of the intense strain on my upper chest muscles just to maintain contact with the handle bars. My knees actually came even with my hands on the m3i. I came to this website to see if there were optional handles available to purchase, ones that would seem to fit my frame better.

I've ridden rollers every winter for more than 25 years, and this year I switched to a stationary. The quality of the equipment is absolutely top notch, and the assembly process was straightforward. Now I can do sprints easily. something I simply couldn't do on the rollers. The Polar heart rate monitor and Bluetooth combination help make my works efficient and more comfortable than keeping my balance on the rollers. At 67 years young and counting, I see this bike carrying me well into my 80's.

I'll admit I was concerned about the negative review re: Shipping. But, my bike arrived in perfect condition, will a piece of plywood to assure that it was stable and safe in its package. A rep from Keiser sent me links to a very affordable torque wrench and crowfoot, ($40 for both), and assembly really is as simple as following the directions and/or the video
As for performance, I had been riding an M3 at my school where I work, and the M3i is far superior. More solidly put together, adjustable handlebars and a flywheel guard that completely encompasses the wheel for greater safety.
A smooth stable ride, and the knowledge that the bike is virtually indestructible (If the older version has survived for years in a High School gym, imagine what it can do in the safety of my house)
Quality machine, worth the extra $ to get the...
