STRENGTH EQUIPMENT
DAILY
- Clean Chrome and Paint where applicable
- Clean Upholstery
WEEKLY
- Wax Chrome and Paint where applicable
- Wax Upholstery
- Inspect Belts
- Wash Hand Grips
- Inspect Air Line Filters
MONTHLY
- Inspect all Nuts and Bolts
- Clean and Lubricate Cylinder Rods
- Inspect Frame for any weakening in weld areas, and other connection sites
QUARTERLY
- Lubricate Pivot Bushings
- Inspect Exhaust Mufflers for Discoloration
- Verify the Compressor(s) is cycling on/off between 100-120 psi
ANNUALLY
- Replace Display Batteries
M SERIES CARDIO
AFTER EVERY CLASS
- Have Members thoroughly inspect each Cycle/Strider
- Have Members wipe off ALL SWEAT
WEEKLY FOR THE FIRST MONTH
- Check and Re-Torque Crank Arms and Pedals (refer to your M Series Operation Manual for complete “Proper Operation Check” procedure)
WEEKLY
- Check parts most susceptible to wear (Adjustment Knobs, L-Handles, Pedal Cages, Pedal Straps, and Seat Upholstery); replace if damaged or broken
- Clean the Cycle/Strider with warm water and a soft lint-free cloth
- Inspect Display(s) for Low Battery (LO-BA) indication
MONTHLY
- Clean the external body/parts thoroughly, targeting sweat zones with warm water and a soft lint-free cloth; use mild detergent (neutral, non-caustic). Wipe dry the equipment
QUARTERLY
- Check and Re-Torque Crank Arms and Pedals
- Wax areas of Cycles/Striders; target sweat zones
- Lubricate the threads of all Adjustment Handles/Knobs (if needed)
ANNUALLY
- Check all external visible screws/nuts are properly tightened and torqued
- Check parts most susceptible to wear; replace if damaged or broken
- Lubricate the threads of all Adjustment Handles/Knobs
- Apply LPS 3® Rust Inhibitor or WD-40® Long-Term Corrosion Inhibitor to the Left Bottom Bracket Bearing and to the clip-in portion of each Pedal
- Replace Display Batteries
(Note: For facilities with multiple units, battery replacement on all units is recommended)
