Purchase Agreement
Welcome to the Purchase Agreement for Keiser. This agreement is between you and the entity providing Keiser equipment to you, which may be, depending on your location, Keiser Corporation, Keiser UK Ltd, and/or its affiliates ("Keiser", "we" or "us").
Please read these terms, along with the Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Institutional and Individual End User License Agreement related to Keiser (collectively, this “Agreement”). Each time you purchase equipment from Keiser you accept this Agreement.
Effective Date: October 20th, 2020
1. Shipping Terms
The Keiser M3 Indoor Cycle, M3i Indoor Cycle, M3 Total Body Trainer and M3 Total Body Trainer, ship via Ground transit unless arranged otherwise, and require an adult signature upon delivery. Any stand-alone accessories purchased on Keiser.com will ship via ground transit service, and will not require an adult signature upon delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure someone over the age of 18 is available at the time of delivery to accept the product. If the customer is unavailable at the time of delivery and the product is shipped back to Keiser Corporation, a $185 fee will be assessed for the return freight and reshipment of any piece of cardio equipment shipped via ground transit service. Cancellations of shipped orders are assessed $185 return freight.
The Keiser M5 Strider, M5i Strider, M7i Total Body Recumbent, M7i Wheelchair Recumbent, as well as any cardio product that ships fully-assembled, will ship via Freight service, and require an adult signature upon delivery. Once the product arrives at your local Freight distribution terminal, you may contact your freight carrier to request a delivery window, in accordance with that Freight carriers schedule and operating hours. It is the customer's responsibility to be present at the agreed upon delivery window. If the customer is unavailable at the time of delivery and the product is shipped back to Keiser Corporation, a return freight fee will be charged for the return and reshipment of the product.
If an order shipped via Ground transit service requires an address change, please contact us right away. There is no fee for an address change for products shipped via Ground transit service. If an order shipped via Freight service requires a change of address, a reconsignment fee will be assessed. The reconsignment fee will vary based on the distance from the old address to the new address, quotes for reconsignment are available upon request.
Shipping of cardio products does not include assembly unless noted otherwise. If the product arrives damaged, please contact the Keiser Corporation service department at 1-800-888-7009 right away for instructions on how to proceed. Shipping damage is covered under warranty.
2. Service and Warranty
If your product requires service please reach out to the Keiser service department at 1-800-888-7009 with your serial number and clear pictures and/or videos of the damaged areas for assessment. Repairs and/or replacements are arranged at the discretion of the Keiser service department.
3. Strength and Commercial Cardio Returns and Refund
Equipment must be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund. Use the original box or a sturdy substitute to ship items, if unavailable please contact your sales rep for instruction on how to best proceed with the return. After receipt and inspection, a refund will be issued less a the cost of return freight and a 15% restocking fee.
Customer must contact Keiser directly to arrange for return and refund. Return of equipment will only be accepted by Keiser with prior written authorization and a Return Authorization Number please call Customer Service (800) 888-7009, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PST, or e-mail us via our contact center to obtain one.
4. Residential Cardio Returns and Refunds
You can return your product for any reason in the first 30 days. Once received back at Keiser Corporation, you will be issued a refund less the cost of return freight and the cost of replacing any damaged parts. The cost of return freight varies, based on the return method. It is the customer's responsibility to repackage the equipment to prevent any damages upon return.
If your cardio product is in the original packaging, or can be disassembled and placed in the original packaging, return freight is $185.
If your product is picked up by a local technician or sales representative, assembled or boxed, the fee is based on the technician or sales representative's time and travel, to a maximum of $185.
If your product cannot be picked up locally or disassembled and re-packaged for pickup, it will have to be picked up fully assembled. Freight rates available upon request for a fully assembled pickup, prices vary by location.
5. Price Adjustment Policy
Keiser will offer complimentary, discounted, or otherwise unique and/or upgraded services, accessories, or exercise equipment at varying times throughout the year. We will gladly issue a refund for the difference between the price you paid and the promotional price, if your purchase was made online at Keiser.com and was within 14 days prior to the change in price as shown on Keiser.com. This price adjustment policy does not apply to coupon codes, or Keiser equipment purchased through other retailers. Please contact orders@keiser.com with your original order number, a screenshot of the new price as shown on Keiser.com, and the request for adjustment and someone from our team will get back to you within 2-3 business days. Please note: price adjustments requests are taken case by case and subject to approval. Once processed, refunds can take up to 10 business days to show on your statement.
6. Standard Terms
The use of any exercise equipment, including, without limitation, Keiser's strength training equipment in which resistance can be changed at anytime during the repetition, and any fixed gear bike, including, without limitation, the complete line of Keiser cardio equipment, without proper instruction and supervision violates the terms of this agreement for purchase of such products. The ability to add resistance anytime during a repetition, including, without limitation, the ability to do a heavy negative may be dangerous, especially for anyone that does not recognize or respect the potential danger. The inability to stop pedaling on a fixed gear bike before the flywheel stops may also be dangerous to anyone riding, especially anyone that does not recognize or respect the potential danger. Therefore, users, agents, or anyone directing the use of said equipment shall determine the suitability of the product for its intended use, and said parties are specifically put on notice that they shall assume all risk and liability in connection herewith. This does not include liabilities arising out of, connected with, and/or relating to the design, manufacture, materials, or workmanship of any Keiser Product. By clicking “I agree to the terms of purchase,” user acknowledges that they are authorized to purchase the products shown in their order and has read and agrees to the terms of this agreement.
7. Free Shipping
Free Shipping is offered to the Continental US on the Keiser M3 Indoor Cycle, M3i Indoor Cycle, M3i Total Body Trainer, M5 Strider and M5i Strider.
