Purchasing Clerk - 04/26/2022

Job Summary:

The Purchasing Clerk will perform administrative and clerical duties for the purchasing department. This includes compiling requests for materials, preparing purchase orders, keeping track of purchases and supplies, and handling inquiries about orders.

This position will also assist with inventory control. This includes maintaining the organizations inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provides administrative and clerical support to the department.
  • Types reports, purchase orders, memoranda, and other documents.
  • Researches vendors and collects prices, specifications, and other data related to goods and services.
  • Establishes and maintains recordkeeping system for purchasing department.
  • Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.
  • Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
  • Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
  • Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
  • Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
  • Should be flexible in schedule of hours worked, including overtime, scheduled weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts when necessary.
  • Report to work as scheduled.
  • Management, at its discretion, may assign additional duties. This list is not all inclusive.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies.
  • Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with computerized inventory systems preferred.
  • At least two years of clerical experience preferred.
  • Forklift operator certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.

Compensation

  • Based on experience: $15.50+ per hour

Schedule

  • 8-hour day shift 7a-3:30pm
  • Monday through Friday

Manufacturing Supervisor - 04/26/2022

Manufacturing Supervisor

We are currently looking for an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing the performance of assembly workers. This individual will create shift schedules, delegate tasks, manage staff, and monitor the results of daily activities. They are responsible for ordering supplies, controlling stock, and reporting the breakdown of equipment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
  • Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
  • Guide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity
  • Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
  • Perform verification of production output according to specifications
  • Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers
  • Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
  • Consult new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards

COMPENSATION

  • Exempt position; Minimum $62,400. Final compensation will be determined and based on experience

Mechanical Engineer - 03/23/2022

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for designing, assembling, testing, and evaluating engineering prototypes. The ideal candidate will be technically minded, able to demonstrate numerical and scientific ability, and have problem-solving skills.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for a wide variety of exercise related consumer products
  • Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs
  • Design and build working prototypes for beta testing: Order parts, identify components and specifications, obtain part quotations
  • Perform engineering calculations to support design work
  • Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
  • Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process; perform data collection, testing, and analysis
  • Assist in data organization and report generation; CAD layout and detailing
  • Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required, preferably from a technical college with hands-on field experience requirements
  • Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products
  • Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems
  • Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
  • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly

EXPERIENCE

  • Familiarity using 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks

Fabricator/Prototype Developer - 03/23/2022

JOB SUMMARY: 

Responsible for the overall construction and maintenance of testing machines, and prototypes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist Design Engineers with the following but not limited to:

  • Produce test machines to engineering specifications and monitor and maintain test machines throughout it’s life cycle.
  • Ability to build custom prototypes from limited information and work with engineering on construction and iterations with speed but accuracy.
  • Experience with lathes, mills, welding (mig, tig is a plus), surface grinding, fixturing, and hand tools

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • PC & Windows Capable
  • Spreadsheet Software (Excel, Libre Office, etc...)
  • Ability to read complex drawings.
  • CNC experience is a plus
  • Lathe / mill / welding proficiency required
  • Hands on mechanical skills are required
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and work in a team environment
  • Work hours M-F (hours to be determined)

COMPENSATION

  • Non-exempt position; hourly compensation starts at $18.00.  Final compensation will be determined and based on experience
