Software Service Technician

We are currently looking for an experienced Software Service Technician to assist with customer-related issues, specifically focusing on the software of our product line. The Software Service Tech will troubleshoot and gather information from the customer that may provide insight into the issues being experienced. This will include phone and email support, as well as possible travel (global) for an in-person resolution. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of our current software products, ranging from websites and mobile apps, as well as our equipment line.

JOB SUMMARY

The job requires an ability to deal in a systematic and patient way with factual and technical information and processes, as well as an ability to focus directly on the knowledge base required for the task.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Proven experience with repairing equipment
  • Customer service skills both over the phone and in-person
  • Quarterly bonus option for some employees

COMPENSATION

  • Non-exempt position; Minimum $20/hr. Final compensation will be determined and based on experience

SCHEDULE

  • 8-hour day shift
  • Monday through Friday, some travel may be required
  • Weekends may be required during travel

Manufacturing Engineer - 11/10/2022

We are currently looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to be responsible for running and maintaining daily processes, as well as seeking to continually improve by finding ways to refine quality and efficiency, in order to produce a better product and reduce costs. The Manufacturing Engineer identifies, implements, monitors, and reports on the impact of continuous improvement ideas that utilize LEAN manufacturing principles.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with manufacturing supervisors and other engineers in developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods by utilizing knowledge of product design, raw materials, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards
  • Participates in the process of identifying and qualifying new production equipment and systems
  • Investigates production problems and recommends improvements
  • Supervises technical staff, including the maintenance department and tooling shop
  • Works with the safety supervisor to perform hazard analysis on new equipment and systems to insure safe working conditions
  • Evaluates quality control processes and makes recommendations for improvements
  • Analyzes production processes, schedules, methods, and other data to understand future production requirements needed for the manufacturing process, in order to assist management in decision making
  • Ensures the company's manufacturing processes are in compliance with all government laws and regulations
  • Analyzes and plans workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency
  • Coordinates equipment maintenance and repair services, and ensures the manufacturer's procedures and instructions are followed in order to keep production equipment operational

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering required, preferably from a technical college with hands-on field experience requirements

EXPERIENCE

  • 5-10 years practical experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer
  • Familiarity using 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks
  • Proficient in: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Computer-aided Design (CAD), Computer-aided Manufacturing (CAM)
  • Experience in various manufacturing processes and techniques (5 years required, 10 years preferred)
  • Experience in executing improvement projects with LEAN Manufacturing concepts

COMPENSATION

  • Exempt position; Minimum $64,480. Final compensation will be determined and based on experience
  • Quarterly bonus option for most employees
