Assembler, Level 1 - 11/11/2021

Job Summary:

Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies using hardware and small tools. Read and decipher schematics and assembly instructions. Assemble valves and air seals, and minor electronic components. Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts. Conduct quality control checks.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Tightening nuts and bolts using various chemicals such as thread-lockers, lubricants, and soldering
  • Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and system quality issues
  • Stay current on required employee training
  • Suggest updates and improvements to existing procedure

Assembly Trainer - 11/11/2021

Job Summary:

Organized and experienced trainer who will educate new hires/transfer employees on Keiser strength machine models. Responsible for developing the skills and knowledge of department workforce, and assessing the results of the department training programs. This person will also determine what needs to be learned by the employees or team, and how to prioritize the learning.

Purchasing Clerk - 11/11/2021

Job Summary:

The Purchasing Clerk will perform administrative and clerical duties for the purchasing department. This includes compiling requests for materials, preparing purchase orders, keeping track of purchases and supplies, and handling inquiries about orders.

This position will also assist with inventory control. This includes maintaining the organizations inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provides administrative and clerical support to the department.
  • Types reports, purchase orders, memoranda, and other documents.
  • Researches vendors and collects prices, specifications, and other data related to goods and services.
  • Establishes and maintains recordkeeping system for purchasing department.
  • Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.
  • Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
  • Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
  • Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
  • Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
  • Should be flexible in schedule of hours worked, including overtime, scheduled weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts when necessary.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Document Writer - 11/11/2021

KEISER CORPORATION, a leading manufacturer of exercise equipment, is looking for an experienced and skilled Technical Document Writer to work in our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include writing internal-use, factual, technical documents for use with our equipment. This may include comprehensive product manuals or how-to-guides that meet organizational standards. The ideal candidate will have an understanding manufacturing processes, as well as experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences.

This position may be temp-to-hire using a third-party agency. Employees are evaluated after 90 days and offered a position with the company if they are meeting expectations.


Job Description

Document Writers investigate and interpret several internal industrial processes. This may include internal-use welding applications, assembly steps, powder coating methods, etc. Note taking is a critical skill set as the writer may only have a short time to write down all the steps and explanations. The writer must be fully prepared to document all necessary information to further explain in a manner applicable to multiple audiences. This includes documenting each step in a clear and concise manner.

Solid Works Composer is utilized for visual representation in most documents. Strong experience using Solid Works Composer is necessary, but will not be required for job application. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to be a successful document writer. The writer will be in charge of creating and maintaining information architecture. Clear and concise writing is key within all documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic understanding of mechanical applications and terminology
  • Measure and read up to 1/16” on a tape measure
  • Solid Works Composer experience is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for prioritization
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in writing
  • Proven ability to work with people of all levels and backgrounds in order to gain a good understanding of the product about which the document is being written
  • Proven ability to meet company-scheduled deadlines

SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to read and understand highly detailed Engineering Drawings

The successful candidate will be taking part in developing customer facing software as well as internal tools for development, testing, and support.
