Regional Sales Manager - 01/22/2021

Keiser is pleased to announce that we are rapidly expanding and looking to increase our Sales force.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and selling Keiser products to accounts within the defined territory in order to achieve annual sales and profit objectives. The Regional Sales Manager will report to the VP of North American Sales.

  • Build and grow a sales pipeline within designated territory utilizing successful sales solutions
  • Prospect for new business both over the phone and in-person while growing existing accounts
  • Target and communicate with prospective clients in areas such as health clubs, sports performance facilities, universities, medical rehabilitation, and senior housing facilities
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team to develop best practice sales strategies

Requirements:

  • Experience in closing new business in a direct commercial sales environment
  • Strong people management, networking and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Superior organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with fitness equipment, fitness industry
  • Intense drive for success and a "no excuses" approach to making things happen

  • Knowledge of variety of computer programs (Sugar or similar CRM, Word, Excel, Email, Internet, etc.)
  • Selling skills, persuasiveness, customer service, integrity and professionalism are important factors in daily administration of this position
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job, will be considered
  • Full Driving License required as you will be driving a 20ft Mercedes Van as part of your Sales Tool Box
  • Good understanding of the mechanics of the human body, with a desire and willingness to learn are required.

Work Environment:

  • Home based office conditions with extensive phone work.
  • Working and living in an assigned region.
  • Travel an average of 40% to 50% per year to visit customers and dealers, and attend trade shows.
  • Ability to park a 20Ft Custom Mercedes Sprinter Van is ideal.

What Success Looks Like

In order to be successful in this role, you will immerse yourself in the Keiser philosophy to gain a ground level understanding of the science, the equipment, and the needs of the customer. Your expertise and analysis will be instrumental in continuously re-shaping Keiser’s approach to the home market, both on-and-offline. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, and will be particularly adept at taking complicated ideas and making them accessible to customers from all walks of life. In this role, you will need demonstrable experience meeting quotas and will be adaptable and a quick study, able to easily sell and push new products and services as required.

What You Will Do

  1. Maintain awareness of sales trends and competitors, creating comparison documents and working closely with the E-Commerce Sales Manager to improve sales strategy.
  2. Meet sales quotas and provide feedback on successful and unsuccessful sales measures.
  3. Provide direct and thorough assistance pre-and-post sale to provide a “White Glove experience” to the customer.
  4. Respond to all customer inquiries across multiple sales channels within 24 hours of receipt.
  5. Generate price quotes to assist customers who cannot place their order online, while directing others to the sales channel that best fits their needs.
  6. Seek underrepresented sales channels and consider new tactics/markets.
  7. Communicate customer pain points to the appropriate department, suggesting improvements to policies and procedures.
  8. Attend and lead off-site trade shows and/or relevant networking events in the fitness industry.
  9. Evaluate and make recommendations on Keiser’s B2C selling tools and technology stack.
  10. Assist the E-Commerce department with other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Fresno-based

  • 2-3 years sales experience preferred

Prototyping and Testing Engineer - 11/05/2020

Summary: Responsible for the overall construction and maintenance of testing machines, and prototypes.

Job Description: Assist Design Engineers with the following:

  • Produce test machines to engineering specifications and monitor and maintain test machines throughout its life cycle.
  • Ability to build custom prototypes from limited information and work with
  • Engineering on construction and iterations with speed but accuracy
  • Experience with lathes, mills, welding (mig, tig is a plus), surface grinding, fixturing, and hand tools

  • CNC experience is a plus

E-Commerce Coordinator - 10/20/2020

We are searching for a talented E-Commerce Coordinator to process new sales orders and provide enhanced support for pre and post sale customer concerns, while finding opportunities to advance our E-Commerce goals through systemic improvements and collaboration with the Digital Marketing and Transformation team.

A successful E-Commerce Coordinator will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience with data entry systems and CRM’s, along with the patience and focus to provide direct and inexpensive resolutions to customer distress inquiries. You will manage a dynamic workflow, balancing the urgent needs of order processing and customer service concerns with important long-and-short-term agenda items, such as procedural audits, customer data analysis and report writing.

What You Will Do

  1. Process incoming E-Commerce orders from various platforms in a timely manner, balancing accuracy and speed.
  2. Ensure the prompt resolution of customer issues/problems/requests through troubleshooting, research and data compilation via telephone, email and internet.
  3. Balance a dynamic workflow during sales promotions including the Christmas/New Year shopping season and any mid-year promotions.
  4. Manage and file damage claims in a timely manner while working with the shipping department to ensure claims are processed and paid.
  5. Periodic audit of fulfillment policies to ensure Keiser customers are at the beneficiaries of current “best practices.”
  6. Review, process, and coordinate customer returns, providing a quick and inexpensive resolution by scheduling pick ups, providing service information, the tracing of shipments, identification of problems and agreeable resolutions.
  7. Take ownership of the customer experience and proactively seek and identify improvements to the order entry, shipment, fulfillment and returns processes while working with different departments to ensure cohesion with Keiser’s broad goals.
  8. Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  9. Assist the E-Commerce and Digital Marketing teams with various tasks as required.

What You Need

  1. Fresno-based - this is not a remote position.
  2. 1-3 years CRM or data entry experience.
  3. 1-3 years customer service experience.
  4. Some sales experience preferred.
  5. Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Quality Control Inspector - 10/07/2020

KEISER CORPORATION, a leading manufacturer of exercise equipment, is looking for an experienced, manufacturing Quality Control Inspector. We are seeking a QC Inspector who can test, document, troubleshoot and prepare our products for shipping/sale. The successful candidate will have a creative, innovative approach to the work and offer frank observations and recommendations.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Create tests for quality control of products
  • Disassemble product parts to inspect them individually
  • Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications
  • Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives
  • Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions
  • Write report to document deficiencies and errors of products

COMPETENCIES

  • Computer literate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic mathematical arithmetic knowledge
  • Must have excellent attendance and an exceptional willingness to learn
  • Above average reasoning skills and the desire to trace a problem back to its source
  • Experience reading blue prints, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Experience with understanding tolerances

EDUCATION

  • 2+ years’ experience in Quality Control in a durable goods manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of the manufacturing processes

COMPENSATION

  • $16+, Non-Exempt position; final compensation will be determined and based on experience

SCHEDULE

  • 8-hour day shift
  • Monday through Friday

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Fast paced environment with others relying on completion of tasks
  • Standing for 8+ hours a day, breaks limited to scheduled meal and rest periods
