Keiser is currently seeking a software engineer to join our team of engineers to assist in product development, testing, and ongoing support. The successful candidate will be taking part in developing customer facing software as well as internal tools for development, testing, and support. Recommended skills include software engineering fundamentals, experience in web technologies, understanding of embedded systems, and ability to research and adapt independently.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, or Information Systems

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting day to day issues in manufacturing and returned defective products, and work with the manufacturing and supply teams to resolve issues. Keiser is currently seeking an experienced electronics engineer to join our team of engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ongoing maintenance of in production designs, as well as the development of future products. Required skills include embedded systems design, hardware level programming, component troubleshooting, technical documentation writing, and production manufacturing experience.

Industrial Sewer/Upholsterer - 07/22/2021

This position is a temp-to-hire using a third-party agency. Employees are evaluated after 90 days and offered a position with the company if they are meeting expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpret design orders and measure/cut fabric according to design stencils
  • Stretch out and install fabric
  • Stitch, glue, nail fabric into place
  • Smooth out imperfections
  • Conduct quality checks on completed orders
  • Proven ability to meet company-scheduled deadlines

REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of upholstery tools including industrial sewing machine, hot cutting knife, scissors, rotary and straight edge cutters, and electric fabric cutters
  • Ability to read and understand highly detailed Engineering Drawings
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Must be highly organized and be able to plan around set deadlines
  • Proven work experience as an industrial sewer/upholsterer
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to draw and interpret designs
  • Must have a positive, teamwork attitude above all else

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Fast paced environment with others relying on completion of tasks

Technical Document Writer - 07/22/2021

KEISER CORPORATION, a leading manufacturer of exercise equipment, is looking for an experienced and skilled Technical Document Writer to work in our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include writing internal-use, factual, technical documents for use with our equipment. This may include comprehensive product manuals or how-to-guides that meet organizational standards. The ideal candidate will have an understanding manufacturing processes, as well as experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences.

Job Description

Document Writers investigate and interpret several internal industrial processes. This may include internal-use welding applications, assembly steps, powder coating methods, etc. Note taking is a critical skill set as the writer may only have a short time to write down all the steps and explanations. The writer must be fully prepared to document all necessary information to further explain in a manner applicable to multiple audiences. This includes documenting each step in a clear and concise manner.

Solid Works Composer is utilized for visual representation in most documents. Strong experience using Solid Works Composer is necessary, but will not be required for job application. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to be a successful document writer. The writer will be in charge of creating and maintaining information architecture. Clear and concise writing is key within all documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic understanding of mechanical applications and terminology
  • Measure and read up to 1/16” on a tape measure
  • Solid Works Composer experience is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for prioritization
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in writing
  • Proven ability to work with people of all levels and backgrounds in order to gain a good understanding of the product about which the document is being written
  • Proven ability to meet company-scheduled deadlines

SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to read and understand highly detailed Engineering Drawings
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Must be highly organized and be able to plan around set deadlines
  • Able to take detailed notes quickly and in a short amount of time
  • Good visual presentation skills (i.e.: 3D diagrams, isometric views, exploded drawings, 2D drawings

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field (i.e.: communication, technical writing, engineering, industrial technology, etc.)
  • 2-4 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Sitting often - at a desk, operating computer
